Yep, loading the image as background sorted it. And I must say what a fantastic printer. Photos, DVD labels, ordinary letter printing, A1.
    Anyone used compatible cartridges yet?
  • You should check how much the INK is (Black and Colour) before purchasing a printer!

A lot of the newer printers have do not have cheap alternative ink supplies therefore you could be paying the brand name price for Ink which sort of makes your bargain printer more expensive.

A lot of printers seem very cheap when you consider you get a free ink tank with many printers and some are even free delivery (https://www.ebuyer.com) and all for £35-£45. Then when it comes to buying ink for your printer they are in the region of £10 to £20 (for some, such as Lexmark printers!)

Spend the time reasearching it before ending up buying something thats not cost effective. It might be worth spending that bit more on the printer if you know the ink prices are £1 or £2, compared to a cheap printer and ink costs of £10!

No, but I got a full set with the printer for £25. I have to be honest if I can find genuine sets for £25 in future, I don't think I'll bother with compatibles. I've had too much trouble with epson ones (at £2 for a full set) and the ones for this printer sound more troublesome (chip moving) and more expensive (£13!!! do what! for compatibles without chip!! come on!!!!)

    just my cheeky 2p :D
