compatibles are just out, talk about timing :)

btw the mp500 is a good deal too if u need a allin1

    Just a word of warning

These compatibles involve removing the chip from your original catridges, I hva e had a 50% success rate so far, it is a little fiddly and certainly not guaranteed replacements

appear to have all gone now - at least I can't find 'em.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

:( Was going to buy one of these to replace my Epson C86 which has decided it no longer wants to print straight (less than a year old but a replacement for my original one which packed up after 8 months, thus warranty has expired )

You should still have 12 months warranty on your replacement and in fact 12 month warrantees are technically illegal as EU Law now states that you should have 2 years warrantee , so take it back and get another replacement .

You comment that they are "set of full cartridges", how do I confirm they are full as opposed to "introductory or partially fiilled" cartridges?

The tanks are transparent so you can see the level but just to be sure I got out the digital kitchen scales and weighed a cart that arrived this morning and compared it with a cart that I bought a few weeks ago. Both weighed 30 grams.

I'm awaiting a reply from Epson's Managing Director about the issue.

Really dont want another C86, itll just die after 8 months again. The replacement was "refurbished".

The M&S one arrived this morning. Mine still had the original price tag on it - £119.

Couldn't find the printer, but picked up the Sagem ITD66 Freeview box with card reader contained within, for £25. £70 at Argos.

    Thanks Den ;)

This is untrue in the UK as they opted out of this agreement for the 2yr guarantees.
