Are you loading the image as an image or background? I find you can move it if loaded as an image, but not as a background.

BTW - thanks V much to OP ;) I am also over the moon with this purchase, and I got a set of carts and another one for my mum too ;)

Thanks for the reply Tin. What s/w are you using, and how do you "move" the image?

Yeah I love this printer too - My sister got the same one at christmas after researching the best photo printers for the price at the time. Finding one for this price was fantastic - as I was tempted to get one when I got hers.. think we paid approx £80 for hers. I do most of my printing on a b+w laser, but I'm also a keen photographer, so it's nice to be able to make some real prints.

The next question - what offers are there on photo paper out there?

You get 5 sheets of nice Canon 4x6 paper in the box. I wanted some more and I found Ebuyer are doing BOGOF on packs of 20 4x6 Canon sheets :

but as usual with Ebuyer the postage is high so best combined with another purchase.

Assuming it's the same prog as for Canon ip5000, select background from toolbar and select file tab...should be able to browse for images...click to load.

Thanks to all you peeps for the info. I'll have to wait until I rebuild my pc to give it a try, as the hard disk has died and I am having to rebuild a new one.
