Don't forget that the iP4200 will print onto CD/DVDs. That is a very nice feature for a £32 printer!

Still had 1 left in M&S Pudsey tonight. They also had the cyan cartridges reduced to £5 but had none of the other colours.
Would have considered buying a set if they had them all but think I will go with compats.0 -
A good deal. Shame I don't need a printer at the moment... I have the IP4000 (the previous model) and it is great.0

The review you quoted only slated it for its inability to use non-oem carts. For one thing, seeing the quality of the photos I'm getting from my ip4200, I wouldn't want to use anything else. I would imagine that there are ways of getting around the cartridge chip problem anyway.
I'm happy to pay for official Canon carts, they're quite reasonable in price if you shop around. Then again I don't do a huge amount of photo printing so an ink cartridge lasts me a couple of months.0 -
Does anyone know of a way to spend M&S (paper) vouchers online?
I have loads but out local M&S does not stock much apart from ladies underwear!Treat everyday as your last one on earth, and one day you will be right!0 -
For anyone that missed this Canon have their own ebay store selling refurb stuff and I got a IP4200 last week for a touch under £40 delivered.
It was delivered the next day and was immaculate with new and sealed ink tanks and print head.0 -

My printer arrived this morning with a set of full carts. A set of genuine carts cost £37.50 so paying £38.50 (inc p&P) for a new printer with a set of carts is a bargain. I've already got one of these excellent printers so now I've effectively got a spare printer for nothing. Thanks again to Wh1teDwarf for the tip off. :beer:0

HI Vendee
Mine also arrived today, Yippee!
You comment that they are "set of full cartridges", how do I confirm they are full as opposed to "introductory or partially fiilled" cartridges?
Many thanksMoney Saving Fan.0
