    Morning Lost Prophet,

    Well done on your challenge.
RE: Promotion if it's a genuine step up in the career ladder, I would just go for it. Worst that can happen is you enhance your skills and potential CV for the same earnings.
If you have a wife or parent etc, I would maybe say in conversastion that you were telling them about the promotion and that was the first question they asked but it hadn't really crossed your mind

Morning all, hope everyone is having a good day so far

Nixi – massive hugs hopefully all will get better soon. And I know the feeling I tend to get really hard to be around when my birthday comes up being I get frustrated because it is my age changing as opposed to me.

YummyMummy – great news about the nursery place. Just a shame that the other stuff is a bit pants, hope that the CAB housing advice people can sort things out properly. About, ebay I was so slow to start with but it does get addictive and then you find that you get into it. You will get there eventually; and you have had loads to worry about.

Moneymabel – I will sort you SEO report sorry it is taking so long the OH was being a wee bit funny last night so it was a struggle to get much done when I got home.

Mambury – lovely news about your DS Mambury

Lost prophet – just approach the manager and find out the full details of the role. And an outline if possible of your new job description they should be happy to do that.

As for me, just doing some social bookmarking this morning, working on boosting my twitter users and have a few bits to tweak on yet another website that I am building. Hopefully, I will have another shiny new website project to show to you. The new one is a lot more fun than money making so I am quite excited about it. I also found a great supplier for card making stuff so I am working on that at the moment.

Also doing some blog research for more features once again to all those doing wedding related stuff or notebook stuff I am working on doing interviews and profiles to be featured so let me know if you are interested. I am aiming to have a featured interview once a week. So let me know!

Also for those on twitter if is wedding related please let me know if there is anything that you would like me to retweet and I am happy to do if for you.

I am also in a much better mood today so thanks for the digital hugs everyone

Just a thought about the smelly shoes; a while ago I had a confessional website. Where people would send in or confess their darkest secrets. I had a under a PO Box it saves having to show your real address in Paypal if you are worried about crazies trying to contact you if you are selling shoes and the like.

  • Purple-pixie - cheers, will have a read at some point today, then get searching for the ones that are in good enough condition to warrant more than 10p, (the Jilly Coopers especially, look like they have been read 100 times). Those that don't sell will be destined for the bootsale so it will be a better profit than there.

Mambury - have come sorted 7 full large boxes of kids books so far, some of them are those Read and Learn ones that came from schools and libraries, haven't sent your other ones yet, they are still on the to-do pile, so am sure I can throw a dozen of them in for him no problem, all the kids books were for bootie anyway x

  • Not happy, the playschool that should have been perfect only have a space for 2 afternoons a week which is completely useless to me, thank god I didn't already cancel DS's place at his current preschool

I've written a mahoosive letter to the council. I like to think i'm good at complaint letters, every other one i've written (only about 4 ever) has got me what I wanted, or better, so here's hoping :o

Having to seriously re-think things now BUT I do feel like I'm getting somewhere, for once.

Sorting out DS's room has gone out the window today, I'll just sort out his clean washing and give it a bit of a tidy for now, he'll only trash it after pre-school and his playdate later anyway :rotfl:

OMG, parenting is tough! They shouldn't educate kids to believe babies are hard work, they're easy compared to all the stuff you have to deal with when they get a bit older!

I'm going to have to re-think my beautiful new budget that took me aaaages to figure out aswell :(
  • Oooh.. Random motivational thought for the day.. (stolen from Facebook)

"Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic!"

Saw that and thought of y'all :)
