In that case you can't escape from buying Korean cars :rotfl:
No other makes have the courage to show faith in their own products.:rotfl:
PS: Honda is usually the best, but if they go wrong (though unlikely) it will cost a bomb to fix.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
I've driven a lot of different Fords with work and I've found Ford Petrol engines to be pretty gutless - I'm not a big fan.0

The honda accord estate looks like it could fit the bill, had a quick look around and there are a few sub 30k petrol and diesel models with full exec trim for £9k or just under, the 2.2 diesel sound promising.

in 20years as a vehicle techie working on all makea hondas rarely gave any problems, was told once by a senior iveco director that the problems with diesel injectors are the very fine tolerances used, uk diesel is apparently not very clean and ruins injectors (so he says) based on iveco dailys killing injectors every 60k costing £250 EACH0

Looking at them cars i would have to say audi A4! the A4 is a sound choice, and completely well built!
When choosing a car second hand, watch out for the coloured cars that dont sell well
ie beige etc..
you may be looking at one of these cars thinking "bargain " go for a more popular colour read this article i found.0 -
Nice article electro dude.
I have to say though the A4 is such a solid choice. German cars in general are extremely well built and built to last but, because its a VAG car, it means parts will be cheaper and more readily available and top quality although servicing can be a bit pricey if you choose to go the VAG routeThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
