    - Here's to DS's job situation looking up soon.

Almost a decent nights sleep last night and awoke to . . . . sunshine! th_sunsmilie.gif Again! Surely I must have travelled to some paralell universe! WM is churning away and have chilli con carne in the slow cooker, started about 11:30 last night, for dinner today with b&b as we've eaten all the rolls and I've not made any more. Need to get the carpets sprinkled with bicarb so it can settle an hour or so before I hoover, have to spend some time online today trying to sort out a couple of techie troubles, will be making me famous coleslaw for tomorrow (always better if it sets overnight) and have a root through the big freezer to see what is needed for next weeks menu.

With a bit of luck today will be another NSD . . . if I get busy and get some bread and rolls made. coffee1.gif

May pop in later, HSarmhugs_9780.gif to one and all.

    Morning all

Another lovely, if cold, start to the day here - it does you good seeing the sun!

Had a lovely day yest can heartily recommend Raymond Blancs restaurant - I sky+ his tv show last night so must watch that some time today.

I am bill paying today and was checking my bank account and nearly had a heart attack. Paid holiday balance on line on friday and this morning it has shown as coming out of my bank account twice:eek::eek::eek: Didn't leave me with much to live on for the rest of the month I can tell you! Anyway I have been on their helpline for the past hour and they have now traced it and said it should be back in my bank account within the next three days - frightened me to death and I am still shaking!!!! Has put me off paying on line abit I must admit and I normally do 99% of my bill paying etc on line.

Anyway now that I have calmed down I will read back and catch up with the thread and yest thread as I must admit I had rather too many glasses of champagne and it is all a little hazy (still a little OS/MS as the champagne was from deals found through here at Christmas!:rotfl:)

Thanks again for all the good wishes yest

    x

Edited to add Happy Birthday Dazi (sorry can't add a smilie with edits!!)

rabbit - sorry your ex is behaving like such an !!!!.

Pen-Pen - good luck to DS for the GCSE.

MSD - good luck at hospital appointment.

lowesey - thats where we are going in Lanzarote. Any tips?

    flutterby - enjoy Brecon.

Nothing much going on here. Hurt my back last night, no idea how (i bent down to pick something up!) and it is now twingeing away. Sure it will ease off. May get a hot water bottle on it and have a warm bath.

Back to work tomorrow as effects of shingles seem to have just about worn off, and been off the painkillers totally since Sunday. Luckily its my short week, so only working 3 days.

Bit of shopping to do, and could also do with doing some baking. Really fancy making a chocolate banana cake if anyone has a recipe? Did also ask on baking thread as well.

    Have a great day.
