    Morning all,

A very dozy wave from the Lowesy corner :hello: happened to take a wee sleeping tablet last night (my first in weeks) as I was tossing and turning and lo and behold I'm a bit dopey this morning. Wow this must be what it's like to be totally thick :rotfl: Will never understand how people get addicted to this feeling

Good vibes to all those taking Maths today!
schumie - hope you feel better soon
redruby - LOL you made me chuckle - I'm sure your neck fillet isn't lame, it must just be a bit tired :rotfl:

Right, have to get a handle on myself today and ring the doctors to bully them into giving me an appointment before March 16th! and also have a mountain of work to be getting on with.

OS wise, DH has a pile of ironing to get on with (not that he will) and dinner to create this evening - the freezer is fully stocked for his convenience... I wonder how that will turn out?!?!?

Have a lovely day OS or otherwise, hugs in abundance xx

    Morning All,

Good luck to all those doing maths today eughh! Makes me shudder, much more into English myself.

Schumie, hope you feel better soon Hugs

Quicky for me this morning as waiting for DGS to arrive, don't do much other than look after him today at 10 mnths takes all my time and energy:D

Bit frosty this morning but looks like it may brighten up. Hope so felt very spring like yesterday.

Really need to get some wiritng done but may have to wait until tomorrow.

Got work on my mind at the moment. I have been off quite a while and am unlikely to return the way my health is at the moment, but can't help worrying about things:( Financially it will be tough so need to think about extra income once I actually finish, already got into OS ways and the whole family are on board but I do earn a good income and its not going to be easy. Luckily my DH earns good money but never had to rely on him totally, hence the writing. Hoping I can actually make some money from it:eek:

Anyway off for brekkie before the little one arrives.

Hope everyone has a good day J x

Sorry .... have been AWOL again after only starting to post again last week .... will really have to try better and get here everyday.

Another lovely bright start to the day here on the south coast but there is still a very crisp frost on the grass at the moment and the cars are iced up. Washing is on , upstairs bathroom is cleaned but need to get on with some other chores shortly. HM Butternut squash soup for lunch and HM turkey and leek bake for tea tonight (yum !) , off for a bowl of muesli and some fruit in a mo.

N9eav - good luck with getting the boat ready and great news that your OH has work lined up for this week.

Essex-girl - hope DDis OK and great news about DS getting into the school he wanted. I take it you are in the transport business ?

PP - good luck to DS for his exam today , my DD has 2 chemistry exams tomorrow.

Schumie - sorry to hear youre feeling poorly, and your troubles at work too.... what a horrid time for you ... sending some ((((HUGS))) your way.

Redruby - well done with your 2 week shopping and your baking yesterday sounds so yummy !

beemuzed - Yay for getting the washing dry on the line yesterday , its so nice that proper fresh smell of the air on your clothes. Havent had such luck yet as we dont get very much sun on the washing line part of our garden yet , hopefully another few weeks and the sun will be in a better place (or is that the earth ...?!?!?) . Have put washing out a few times this year but it alwasy seems to get rained on !
Hope that maybe DS's interview went better than he thought... good luck with fitting everything in today , sure sounds busy.

Lowesy - good luck with the doctors...

Right best get on .... take care everyone. x

Good Morning............................(((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) if you need one.

Ita another lovely morning, the sun is shining, but we did have a very hard frost. I have a load of washing in, got towels dry outside yesterday, brilliant. The sitting room faces South so we did not need to light the fire until 4pm when the temperature started to go down.

Quilting this afternoon, need to find something to take with me to do, not sure what, will have to have a root and see what I can find, bit short of hand projects just now.

    Have a good day.................

  • Good Morning All

Been MIA for a few days over the weekend, busy day on Saturday finishing the deep clean of the kitchen and playing with my new breadmaker (which makes the finest bread ever! Yummy! :p). And then on Sunday I was at Wembley for the football :j:j:j. It was a great day out, and we didn't get back until the early hours of Monday so was very tired yesterday!

Haven't had time to go through the threads from the past couple of days, but huge :grouphug: to those in need and positive vibes to those taking the Maths GCSE today.

Dinner last night was a bolognese that I'd cooked up on Saturday for OH and the kids (I was out with work so my dinner cost me £0 ), and tonight it's a chicken and rice soup. My Mum has requested a loaf from the new breadmaker which I'll prep tonight and pop on timer so it's fresh for her in the morning :T

I'm going to make a start on spring cleaning the bedroom and having a clear out of my old clothes. Maybe I'll have some space then to put the clothes away that I actually do wear! :rotfl:

    Have a great day everyone

    Morning peeps

cold and frosty here this morning but also bright and we have also seen the sun too :j Yesterday was glorious so i spent the morning in the garden, i dug out all the old things that i didn`t get chance to remove before winter from the left hand bed and dug it over and then dug in some fish blood and bone so that the soil will be ready for planting later. Younger houndie seems obsessed by where i`ve been digging now, not sure why but she has a good nose so maybe she wants the bone :rotfl:

Beef stew for tea tonight with lovely crusty bread, it was in the slowcooker overnight so the house smelt wonderfful this morning, there`s another loaf in the panny at the moment so that we don`t run short, DH has taken the houndies fishing today so i have the house almost to myself, little black cat is here and is watching the birdies through the window. I`m almost out of raisins as the birdies love them so i must add some to my shopping list for the weekend.
Happy Birthday Dazi :bdaycake:have a lovely day!

    Stef - Congratulations :j

Good luck to all those with exams today!

Welcome to BlackNarcissus & Cheeseaddict :hello:

I am halfway through sewing up young houndies favourite teddy bear which has a few large holes in it and then i need to hang up the washing and give the room a good clean before w*rk later. I can get the floors scrubbed whilst there are no houndies here so it shouldn`t be as long a job as normal.

I shall make a start and catch up with everyones day later.
    Have a good one peeps.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p
