    compettive with who?

i think they are - maybe i'm biased as i have a policy

i mean B&C are unlimited, good claims handling service, no charge to pay direct debit, good discounts - eg for buying online, security and no claims discount

Last halifax policy I quoted against was uncompetitive. Of course, the differences could be down to post codes. Norfolk/Suffolk is generally amongst the cheapest areas of the country. With insurance companies pricing on a post code basis, what is cheap for one isnt necessarily going to be cheap for another. Even then it can be miss and hit. I quoted cheaper than an Asda policy recently yet for someone else also looking at Asda, I couldnt beat them. You cannot say xyz company is best because it just doesnt work that way. They maybe for some but not others.

    I believe it is.

Totally agree. Whilst I find NU life and pensions to be very good on service generally, their general insurance (house and car) can be awful when dealing with problem cases.

NU were awful when making ammendments to my income protection policy, but the policy itself is quite good
