Great to hear from you, NID.

Does the fact that you are "wasted" mean that Rangers have won?

No Ann, Rangers don't play until tomorrow and he is wasted (dead drunk) just getting ready for the match (!!)

You and SW could start practicing some Rangers songs for when he gets back:

Rangers, Rangers, we will follow Rangers
    Everyway Everywhere
    We will follow them ..................

or' Keep the Blue Flag flying high' instead of red flag ........

don't know any more - sorry

    Thanks 3Dogs,

I am getting quite an education here!

So if Rangers win tomorrow NID is going to have a huge hangover - although he will probably have one after tonight.

Will keep an eye on the results tomorrow so that I at least appear to know something about this football thing!

Oh my gosh, just woke up! No work done. Been asleep for 3 hours!!!!

Wow! Can you imagine us chanting football songs. A bunch of mad ladies, setting off alarms, knicking flowers and singing 'Rangers, we love you!'.

Hysterical. I am getting mad ideas!!!!!

Careful, SW you are a very respectable teacher in your other life.

    Hi SW,

Thought you had been quiet - hope you feel better after your sleep!

I am imagining us all singing and chanting football songs. But I am sure we are far too civilised to use any bad words in them ......

I once boarded a train with lots of Portsmouth fans travelling to a local football match. I was expecting the worst.

I am a short, asian female. They all had shaven heads. I was terrified thinking they would be dreadful yobs. Silly me. Not one of them swore, they made a seat for me and started to have a polite conversation about John Major having an alleged affair with Edwina C*rrie and the impact it may have had on his ability to govern!!!! They were so funny and utterly charming and entertained me for my journey!!!!

I hope NID is enjoying himself. We must find out if he already has a Blue Peter badge.

But you do know some some, then?

Football songs, I mean - with or without the naughty words in them!

    Good point, SW.

You just can't judge people by how they look - it's how they behave which is important!

NID didn't actually mention the Blue Peter badge tonight - not sure how much he read!

I do, my brother was an Aston Villa fan. And he used to go to all their matches. He knew some really naughty ones. Crumbs.

    Well,

As I said earlier, this is becoming quite an education!

I am finding out new things all the time - as well as making new friends.

Off to bed soon as I am really tired tonight.

    Night all
