Don't think Winewaiter asked a question??
Bubbles, some HP agreements also fall under the CCA74, but overdrafts do not.
(Agreements before 6th April 2007)
Mouseann, you've never heard of a wee plasticine man called morph?

If NID is in Scotland, the weather is a little mixed - some sun, some rain. A cold wind is blowing though so hopefully he's well wrapped up. A few days ago we had a short hail storm too. Been really busy at work (no dragons involved) and had to do some at home so i've had a full day away from the boards - was wondering when the shakes were going to kick in!
Don't worry too much about the extra mail - right now you want them to reply so you can find out which agreements are unenforcable. Hopefully there's nothing too scary in there. Just let us know if there's anything that worries you in the letters - we'll try to explain what it means and how it may impact on you. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Morning George,
Thanks for the words of support. Am going to get busy with the scanner later today - nohing too scary yet but I am sure they will be appearing very soon.
And I do have to confess that I have never heard of Morph!
Sorry to hear that you didn't encounter any dragons on your "special day" yesterday. Perhaps you have already scared them off!

Crumbs, pages and pages ~ and here I am at the end, a bona fide fan of NID.
Ann, well done, I'm dead impressed vwith what you've achieved with the incredible amount of support from this community.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
I used to love Morph, I forgot all about him!
Morning Ann, things seem to be ticking along quite nicely for you at the moment, not too many nasty phone calls or anything.
I'm so glad you found this forum or your life could have taken a very different route without the help of your superhero NID.

Hi mouseann and everyone else. Just wanted to add my support. I have been reading this thread since it started and have it in my favourites so as I can keep up to date with the comings and goings in mouseann's situation. NID is fantastic and got rid of a nuisance debt for me too. The sad thing is that I had already paid the parasites that bought the debt over a thousand pounds before I discovered the wonder that is NID.
Good Luck with your fight mouseann. And never feel guilty. I used to until I totted things up properly recently and discovered that they had had their money more than twice over and I still owed an inflated balance of more than twice what was originally owed.
Enjoy your retirement without the stress of debt.
THE BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!0 -
Thanks again everybody for the words of support.
And it is lovely to get messages from people I haven't heard from previously! I am sure my long-term friends on here won't mind me saying that.
Gravitytolls - thanks for the comment. I could not have achieved anything without NID and his support. I am definitely and positively his number one fan!
Woowoo - you are so right. I honestly don't know what I would be facing now if it hadn't been for NID. I still have a lot of big decisions to make about my future but I do feel so much stronger and able to make them for myself now.
Moocow - you are so right about the banks and their interest rates. It is hard not to feel guilty and ashamed of my situation but I am learning to live with it."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
I have logged on to cheer myself up! And these messages are lovely. I am so proud of you all!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
