Its not a lecture per se but you really have to start to listen to the advice given or the banks will wear you down and defeat you with their lies and false claims. This doesn't help guys like me either, having people question my advice over info that a bank has given them - ergo, I always ask people to deal in writing.

If a witheld number flashes on your phone and you answer it, the moment you know it is the bank - BEFORE SECURITY - you simply say "Sorry, please write to me, I do not wish to have a verbal discussion" and then you hang up!

No need to listen to their lies or their spiel about right and wrong - just get rid of them! If it's genuine and true what they say, then why won't they put it in writing to you? Hmmm, all making sense now surely?

So, to summarise - DO NOT SPEAK TO CREDITORS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

I believe in God. Because i grew up in hospital and all my friends died before the age of 16. I am the only one still here. I am cross with my church at the moment as they said something that was anti gay. I have many wonderful gay students and friends so i am not going back. I dont like to see anyone being picked on when they have as much entitlement to be here as we do. Some of my greatest heroes have been Atheists i love them and i respect them but there are some things you just know.

Gosh this is a bit deep. We are all so different on here. I am making lovely friends and learning so much at the same time. You are all utterly marvellous.Big hugs,

nid that is so helpful I am going to print this off and stick it beside my phone I have not had any phone pests for ages now and funny enough no letters for about a fortnight. however I have had a familiar number beginning with 0113... rang me just now and they said they were from a gas efficiency company. I said i dont talk to strangers on my phone and could they remove my number from their data base. They got a bit upity and said it cant be done so i quoted your previous statement quoting the data protection sec 7 demanding they did so and hung up. I was just about to get the number from 1471 to identify them when a bloomin neighbour rang me so i lost it grrr.

forgot to say they said they could come around to my home to discuss my gas efficiency with me hehe I wish I had said i have heard enough hot air just now to heat the street i live in Ha Ha!!!

Does anyone know if i can get who called me before my neighbour I do have caller id but I only get the last caller on 1471
