Good afternoon
Just been checking over at Niddy's other banking thread........:j
Niddy, wish I was like you, I try to be strong and am getting stonger dealing with banking issues but golly your so CLEVER :T:T:T
What banking thread di? lol - all my threads involve [STRIKE]scum[/STRIKE] sorry banking of some capacity? :rotfl:
I'm not clever tsk - am just the unfortunate victim of ID Fraud, made me learn the ropes quick smart or they'd have had me paying back £150k of someone elses debt!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
As I said on earlier post, this time last year I had 10 cifas fraud markers, over 500 searches and 50 accounts (all defaulted/ccj'd) totalling over £150k - NONE was mine. Now my credit file is clean - plus I got £11k from the CRA's as compo for their ignorance and stupidity at arguing with the Niddy!!2010 - year of the troll

Sorry to hear you were a victim of fraud though .
My son's wallet went missing when he was out night clubbing on Boxing night, this was before he had a skinfull, cos he rang me and was obviously panicking, so I cancelled his cards on his behalf immediately, however he have now learnt not to carry any of his cards out when going out now!
He did have so much cash in it and within 2 months 2 of his membership cards were found outside a country pub which is some miles away from the night club, so it was highly possibly stolen, he had to renew his drivers licence as well.
It was reported to the police of course, but there is not much they can do, even by trying to track down on CCTV there is not much hope in catching whoever did this. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi everyone,
Just back from a trip out - thought the rain might have gone away - but it has just started again! Which means the dog is going to get another short walk!
Have called in to the council office and got a form to apply to be on the housing list. I needed to make an appointment to actually speak to someone but am going to persevere with the form and sees what happens.
So, thanks for all the advice along these lines!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Hi Barnie,
Good to hear from you! I think NID has summaried the situation so don't really need to say any more.
But, pleaase keep posting - the more the merrier in our little group!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Hi Ann
Hope you are having a good time - you know what they say " A change is as good as a rest ", and I think that doggy will want to come home with you at the end of this break.!!:rotfl::rotfl:She will be used to you spoiling her.:D
Glad to hear that you having been to the council, honestly it was the best thing we did.:T

Don't think we should let religion into the thread though... We have far too much fun here /QUOTE]
I agree, Moneypenny.
Was brought up as a Catholic and certain aspects of that religion scared me witless when I was young!
Now I think I am agnostic - but still like some of the rituals. Which I guess makes me a hypocrite!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

You are so right, Elsie,
I am sitting here at the table typing with one hand and cuddling the dog with the other one - she has her head in my lap!
Was always very fond of her - I knew her from a puppy - but have got very attached to her over the last few days.
Think her nose has been put out of joint since the arrival of the baby in September - am looking forward to seeing the grand-daughter myself on Thursday!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
I am back from hospital. Walk must have done me some good. I feel better. Bloody heck, were you the victims of identity theft?
I did a couple of month's stint with a bank and helped on their chargeback Mastercard sections amongst other things. When someone is robbed of their cards and some idiot steals from their accounts. Or a when an elderly widow was forced to pay for something her husband ordered just before he died. That was a killer. Luckily there were lots of legal ways to help them. It was a long time ago, I hated it. The bank only seemed to care about the rich people. While some staff seemed to care most were pretty dense.
Was it you Di that spoke about karma? the bad people always get their comeuppance in the end.
Are you listening banks? ever read anything by Dickens???Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
EEK I have Nids LLoyds letter in hand and about to go post it recorded delivery of course
Very nervous and feeling kinda sick to the stomach.
Hi Jen,
I know it is easy to say, but please try not to feel nervous and sick with worry!
We have all been there and have our dark days - I know I do! I find the best cure is to come on here and let rip about anything and everthing - a trouble shared, etc."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
