    Hello all,

Have just been offline for a bit - which means I have missed all the fun!

Don't worry about the joke SW - I thought it was really funny!

But MatyMoo is quite right, you do need to get your blood sugar stable. I know I probably sound like your mother but we do care about you!

Quite right Elsie. When i started reading the thread, they were talking about butter and sugar, meat paste etc. Lemon curd never got a mention so thought i'd throw it in there. Made a bit of a mess didn't it :rotfl:

Keep off your feet for a while Ann, not going to say you should have your legs in the air - i know what they're like on here...

    Hi George,

No you didn't make a mess of anything! I lost the plot after yesterday and forgot all the banter about the spread!

And thanks for the concern re my feet - they still hurt but am getting used to them!

    Hi Nanny,

I am intrigued about the double act - especially as it includes a pole! (Trying not get confued with you and Nanna, though!)

I am missing my car - more than I thought possible. And the complaints person from my insurance company rang me today re the letter I had written about my excess (which I consider to be VERY excess!) She gave me a patronising lecture about the changes being in the small print. After reflecting on this - after putting the phone down - I have decided I am still not happy with it so am going to send another letter about it. Can't lose anything - and I really begrudge that 300 quid! Now I am hoping that the car will be ready for Saturday!
