I Pixie, I know what you mean about sharing some quality time with your daughter and new baby, my Son & Daughter in Law, had a little girl last December, she is just an angel to be around, kind of reminds me why I have to stay strong in these troubled times..

Mouseann, glad your dentist app. went ok, I have to face mine next week....:(

    Take care everyone..
    alland

Thanks Allan. Had a lovely family day yesterday: my second daughter called in with the baby in the afternoon, my eldest daughter called in with my 18month old granddaughter at tea time and my youngest came home unexpectedly for a visit for a few days (she works away from home.) The only one missing was my other daughter who lives 250 miles away. I tried phoning her but no reply :( My 18 month old granddaughter must ahve been out drinking with Niddy cos she talks the same language - "wuv woo" (love you) :D

Why are you all scared of the dentist - I used to go every day!!!:p

    Hi Rainbow Liberty,

Welcome to the hippy community! Your name fits in superbly with the hippy image! (Well, we were hippies yesterday - but we do change our images quite frequently - who said that you can't teach old dogs new tricks????)

    Story behind my name -

Rainbow - at Dad's funeral we had a song played called look for me in rainbows - by Joe Brown's Wife. Lovely song, very emotional. When Im really stressed if I see a rainbow whatever was troubling me seems to sort itself out. Im sure it's my Dad helping me despite him being gone 16 years.

Liberty - I wanted to call my daughter that but was over ruled, she has the middle name of sweetheart though.....

Been thinking, maybe I should have started my own thread in the beginning with all my financial trials and tribulations on it but its so complicated I wouldn't have known which board to put it on, lol. Glad your feeling better and isn't NIDDY wonderful helping us all like this. Wish we could get him something by way of a thankyou but that would be impossible unfortunately - financial situation prevents and annonymity too - but the thought was there.

I love rainbows too. In my old college (which i should never have left) we had a hockey pitch which was watered every day and that meant i could see a rainbow everyday to cheer me up.

When i get off my big bottom!!!) Mr Nid will be sent a Big Blue Peter Badge to say thanks.

And if he ever travels my way he and Mrs Nid will have to stop in for a meal, gossip etc too!!!!!

Mouseann I dont know why (maybe because i was 10) but Alice in Wonderland (well the characters anyway) terrified me. I didn't think much of Gullivers Travels as a child but now i think it is one of the greatest, deepest books ever written.
