    Thanks, as always, NID.

I do appreciate you taking the time to read through all that stuff.

Will get the letters done when I get back from the d******* - am off in a little while!

I think I may have confused the issue by mentioning Saga - that was my description of all the queries I sent, together with that screed outlining my (well, mostly yours!) action so far. Saga is one of the few people to whom I do not owe any money!

Not sure whether I need to do anything yet about those people who have not responded at all, or those who have ignored my follow-up letters. I am sure you will advise on this.

    Thanks yet again!

    Hi Ann

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Ahhh I see, I thought you mean you were sending me a SAGA credit card CCA to check oooops! Now I understand ;);)

Regards to the non-replies, just hold fire until they respond, no need to rush things, it can wait until you are ready..... :o

Have fun at dentist - that's a swear word to me too

    Hiya

Sorry just finished dealing with emails (in 3 days I had 87!):eek:

I thought you sent me one lot of documents, so regards to my email the Egg is enforceable the Citi is not. With regards to citi send this: CCA Query - Terms & Conditions Supplied

Assuming you're happy and prepared to do what I suggested in my email, then send this to Egg:
    CCA Query

    Hiya NiD,
    Will do as suggested.

Thanks for the advice,I suspect will be needing a lot more yet before I'm over this...:o

    Hi Pixie

I've not forgotten you, we're just just doing a few things behind the scenes, will explain all a little later on. Just seeking clarity from a couple of the other resident experts (george/fermi) about a point that was brought up, by good old George :D

Don't be alarmed, its a simple precaution to ensure you get the best advice. :p

Thanks Niddy. I appreciate any help you can give me. You really are an angel in disguise :A

I'll keep popping in to see if there's any news while I'm doing job applications.

    Hi Pixie

Briefly, we're trying to establish whether the advice I want to give you will be crossing any lines, legally  So far i'm confident we'll be ok to proceed but in the meantime just bear with us..... ;)

Don't worry, nothing you have PM'd me has gone any further than my inbox - i'll explain all later, promise :D:D

Good luck with the job hunting.....

Good morning Ann, Niddy and everyone else (the list is getting longer by the day):)

Hope the dentist visit goes okay for you Ann, I absolutely dread going. Went a few months ago and needed a new crown putting on... and left £200 lighter  I think the charges are just getting ridiculous. Anyway, that's today's grumble out of the way.

Its a day off work today, so just pottering......will pop back in later:D

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hello everybody,

Have just returned - just a check-up and a scale an polish - which cost nearly £40!!!

Thanks for all the good wishes - I did survive but I am such a coward around dentists.

Thankfully, my teeth are still in my mouth and not in a jar near the bed!

    Hi Dearbarbie,

Good to hear from you! And thanks for the words of encouragement - you are right, I do have a much clearer sense of direction now, thanks to the brilliant advice of NID and support from friends on this board.

Please keep butting in - the more the merrier!

I don't mind you sharing the information with George or Fermi, I'm sure their advice will be invaluable. I don't know where us mere mortals would be without the help of you and your fellow experts.

I hate doing these job applications, they take forever and there's at least 200 applicants for each teaching post in my neck of the woods :(

    Morning Ann.
Pleased to see that your visit to the dentist wasn't too traumatic - apart from having to for out £40! :(
