I love the idea of being a hippy but I'd be no good unless I took my hayfever medicine first - all that dancing with flowers etc would just do me nooo good whatsoever!

NID - I know that you are passionate about what you do - anyone who can read can see that - how on earth do you find the time to answer all the emails that you get? You are one in a million!

Hi everyone, new to this thread after reading about in over on Niddy's Unenforceability. Didn't realise it was going to be so popular, lovely to read so many positive comments for mouseann.

Main thing I wanted to ask though, as I haven't got the time to read through over 100 pages of posts in two months how is mouseann getting on, I was worried about her after reading the first page.

Is there a condensed version to know that she is doing ok. Fingers Crossed

Hello Trouble - what brings you over here then? :p

Condensed version - there are 17 creditors, so far only one (Amex) has come back with anything like a lawful CCA (but that doesn't matter too much), 6 or 7 are Unenforceable, that we know of to date.

To date, Ann is still at the start but working through things slowly but surely. Still gets phone calls, but easy to ignore. I think Ann has come on leaps and bounds since her first post a couple of months ago, maybe this is the fact she can see light at the end of the tunnel - I dunno, i'm sure she'll enlighten us all when she gets up! :rotfl:

That's about the slant of it, in my opinion, of course! :D:D

    Hiya

Sorry about earlier rant ok - hope you can see why it prompted such a reaction? :(

I don't have the time, haha - but unfortunately have to make time! That's what i'm off to do now, check and email from Ann (but I don't mind those!).... ;)

    Hiya

Its better than a judge laughing them out of court (without a CCA) - it wouldn't even get through the front doors of court cos before that we'd be hitting them with CPR31.16 to demand disclosure of said (alleged) document

As for waiting, yea - just sit tight until they start hassling you, its up to you how much you chase things and if you're happy to sit tight, go for it - no probs whatsoever! :rotfl:

The below is from MouseAnna - via PM to me: :D:D

    1. I sent a copy of a letter received from Amex - on 2 pages. Don't think it is very important - merely an acknowledgement that they are going to pu the issue through their Complaints Procedure.

Spot on, just wait and see what they say - they should issue a final response at the end of it all......

    2. I have received another letter from Barclaycard which is identical to the one I received last week. I replied to this using the template at 1484. Presumably I will do the same to this one?.

Yep - just treat them the same :D

    3. First Direct have returned my £1 with a letter saying that they cannot provide my CCA as my letter was not signed! (I have not scanned the letter but can do it if you would like to see it) I am not sure why they are asking this - if they needed to "cut and paste" my signature they have loads of cheques I have used.

LOL - send this to them with the checque and original request (again, do not sign it): Demand of your Signature

If the 12+2 days have expired then tough, they do not get longer (stalling) by asking for a siggy as this letter shows. :naughty:

    4. I have produced a document outlining the status so far of my accounts, listing replies received and action taken.

Thanks - that is handy actually - well done :T

You mentioned Saga in your PM but nothing in the email was there linked to Saga - or am I missing something? Eeeek :)
