I think i have just seen a picture of Numpty Monkey on the bottom of the thread. I was convinced he was a lady but not now. Oh dear!!!!

There are pictures from a previous meeting of MSErs.

Funnily enough, they are mostly blokes! Not many women at all....

Hi Birdlady I'm a bit of a lurker too but they are very nice, friendly, fun people on this thread, lots of support and help as well as all the banter. Nid the trollblaster and Jinny the troll-in-oil-boiler soon see off any nasties.

    Oh dear, Pixie!

What ever happened to customer care???

Hope you manage to get some water for at least a cup of tea - as you say, going out isn't really an option! From experience, if these people do turn up and find you out they then manage to vaish from the face of the planet!

    Good morning everyone.

Hope you are well this morning. Its a day off for me today, so hurridly doing the housework, and then I can devote a few hours this afternoon between MSE and Family History research.

Just waiting to see if the postman brings any post......we sent our CCA letters off 3 weeks ago and only had 1 reply.....no-one wants to speak to me.!!

    Be around later guys

    Hello everyone

I am still lurking around this thread as I love it so much :D
Have finally sent off my CCAs to my four elderly debts (from the eighties - remember back then ?) . Have been a bit slow to get going due to setting up new bank account and a couple of wobbly moments but going for it now thanks to all the great info on Niddy's thread.
These four debts are only about a third of what I owe so will not change things significantly but every little helps.
I am taking baby steps at the moment but trying to tackle one thing every day instead of hiding under the duvet. You are all so positive and funny, it feels like you have no worries and I really admire your coping skills.
Will let you know how things go when (or if) I ever get replies to my letters.
Just wanted to say you are all an inspiration, especially Mouseann :T
