Oh dear. I have run out of fruit but have lots of poop in freezer. I have promised my friends i would eat properly so tomorrow after work i will get fresh fruit and veg.

NID you are not allowed to be poor. You are the cleverest person i know. And dude, i know some real geniuses. Are you like one of those great artists. Not recognised financially till you pop your clogs?

PS, hey you are not allowed to do that. As too many people value you. Ok! Oh my gosh, i am truly humbled. I am so sorry.

    SW thanks :D:D

Just to clear up, Mr & Mrs Niddy are far from poor, lol, we comfortably pay £1500 p/m in mortgage payments if that helps figure out our earnings

But seriously, SW thanks - you know what I mean - you're really too nice and you have to be careful that you don't let bad people take advantage of your kindness -- that'll be when Niddy & George will be there, armed with tazers in our superhero uniforms (just remember to turn on the MSE lantern into the moon shadow) :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Afternoon everyone

Seems i've missed a mini-storm :o:o Well done SW and others for what you're doing, it must be a great relief to other users to see people around that care. Well done.

I'm here for the long haul, so what's the gossip then - not all at once, take your time so as you don't trip over yourselves :rotfl: :rotfl:

My gossip, I went to bed at 7am, got up at 1.30, watched Rangers (draw??) and then left for work - oh, after eating a bread roll (cos i'm poor) ;)

Missed the sun, missed the pub, and I think *I miss the banks ;);)

    * Niddy is going senile, worry not!

    Hi NID,

Have been off line for a couple of hours - so missed your "return".

Good to hear from you. As you have gathered, SW has been leading a crusade for a friend of hers who is going through a bad time.

No real gossip though. Any further news of that Balls creature and his awful messages?

I've noticed a few people comment on bailiffs/DCA's etc - whilst they can be funny to check them out and dig up dirt on them, it's really not worth it cos they will only hassle you for so long, and by the time we're finished with the UE claim you will be more than comfortable dealing with them.

Bailiffs have no laws really, if they turn up at your door you just deny them entry - simple. If they get funny, you call the cops!

I have created a thread, in collusion with an ex Bailiff (RobertoMoir) which explains what they can and cannot do - and also provides in-depth coverage to help you fight them away. Linky is here: Bailiffs and Collections

Bear in mind, with regards to your Unenforceability claims (UE), you will never be visited by a bailiff as they have no right to obtain judgement against you thus the only people that *think* they can call are "doorstep collectors", usually people from the DCA that owns the account - thing is they have NO RIGHTS whatsoever.

Regards to the Lowells case, this was on watchdog last year - there is a thread about it on here that I was involved in but can't seem to find it! To read about them, and watch the programme, see here: BBC - Watchdog: Lowell - chasing debts

Hope the above helps a little - but remember if you have any concerns then just ask me and i'll get the answer for you, if I don't already know it :D

    Thanks NID,

This is very useful and reassuring!

I think this is a bridge I will cross when I get to it! But no harm in being prepared.
