i do bother a lot about this shampoo shenigans
i was very unlucky in my dealing with tesco CS today. I was passed to their manager who had put a note beside my account stating firmly only 9 items allowed for me, nothing more.
since then every phone ended up with more n more disappointing note.
really tired, n d delivery man din showed up
i might just return them tomorow by my own cost0 -
My delivery was on Tuesday night, spoke to CS immediately, got the refund e-mail within an hour (had to be referred to manager as over £25), money appeared back in my bank account this morning.¿Alguien ha visto a mi nave espacial?
Biting is excellent. It's like kissing, only there's a winner.0 -
Well I'm uber chuffed. I got paid £2 for 10 bottles of john frieda stuff and 2 boxes of thorntons chocolates!
Refund went in same time as money went out. Mega mega thanks OP!

This morning the large amount is showing on my credit card but no sign of the refund yet, hopefully it'll show up later!
Quick question... Tesco MADE me pay twice in store last Monday for my shopping as they insisted my first payment hadn't gone through. I KNEW it had but no amount of argueing would convince them as such so I was forced to pay again. Finally today proof showing on my online Credit Card bill, payment taken twice... just wondering whether I would be better going back to the store that made me pay twice (which is what the manager asked me to do) or ringing CS?
Am I entitled to DTD? If so I know that the store manager has no intention of honouring itIf a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -

Same here - delivery Tuesday, refund e-mail same day and money back this morning! So all in all, got 15 bottles of shampoo, etc, plus a couple of other things for £10.Busy mum to 3 gorgeous girls0 -
Thanks OP.
Ordered Tuesday night, delivery last night. 2 JF shampoos substituted with JF conditioner. I only ordered 9 bottles total because of the comments on here, just to be on the safe side. Charged at 3 for 2 with cheapest free. Mentioned to driver that 'my special offers don't seem to have been charged right, shall I ring CS' and he said yes as he couldn't do anything about price. Confirmed with him I was just signing for delivery of goods, not payment. Rang CS, very nice, I just said I'd been charged at the wrong special offer price, and they had over-charged me by £22.80, so he said no problems, refund will take 3-5 days to show on your account. No queries, attitude or anything, just proper customer service.
BTW, he said it was a mistake on the website, and I said 'oh really?'!!!!!!:rotfl:
I posted earlier (542) an extract from the Consumer Direct website:
http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/before_you_buy/online-shopping/online-supermarkets- ensuring special offer prices quoted online are treated as firm prices for orders that are to be delivered in the offer period - how long the offer lasts will be made clear
Anyway, I'm really happy with my £43.80 of product for £6!:j
Thanks again0 -
my online order came last Tues, i'd only gone for 3 Mcadam conditioners - charged at full price of £10.20 (but didn't even check my receipt until i read this thread!) - i emailed them Tues night & had a reply yesterday, refund of £8.20 on it's way. can't say fairer than that0
