just take the basket, don't get worked-up and leave it in an aisle. Much more relaxing (until you fall over it
)
In the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?0 -
i always get followed by security in boots in wimbledon (when i go there which is rare as i usuallygoto sutton).. i always take them on a littletour of the shop as well.There's someone in my head, but it's not me0

I kept getting followed in Boots because I am a teenager, and so did some other people my age, but not my mum. This went on until I complained to HQ and got an apology, and was told that that specific security guard has now left, and the manager will make sure that she speaks to the new one.0

Yeah that does my head in too...get followed around just because you're young. Looking forward to the age discrimination legislation coming in soon then they'll be trouble...0 -
is it age discrimination thou when most of the thieving that goes in shops is done by teenagers/early 20's? i somewhat suspect it isn't and thus what happens will be deemed looking after their business

No they won'tThe legislation is only concerned with employment and training and has nothing at all in it pertaining to goods, services or facilities.

I get followed a lot in shops for some reason and the fact that I am being followed makes me feel shifty so I'm sure i act more suspicious. I like to read the labels, so will often crouch down and read the shelf edge label on offers to make sure I understand it, then double check the packet I have, and that is obviously deemed 'suspicious' when I'm only trying to be a moneysaver.

Clearly if that isn't you, the damn place simply isn't worth the hassle. I hate the bloody place. Usually when I'm walking past and think, "Ah yes," I usually end up just dumping whatever I've picked up on the closest shelf to the checkout.
As for security guards, had one in Staples a few weeks back so I asked him if he was following me. Ending up chatting for about 15-mins, was a lovely guy, Richard, from Africa, moved here about 2-years ago with his family, from London, he was up here for the week, hates working in the Tesco-one-stops in London. Oh and he was single too.......
Did you manage to get his phone number?? you go girl0
