OMG who ever you are? (I'm convinced it's LiR) you must have armpits of steel  But on my legs I have no probs, it's the best thing I've bought and apart from the ingrowing hairs it's just brilliant
Off for a bath and to use up some stuff. Will use a sample fashwash I got yesterday, can't remember what it is or were it is
i epilate my underarms, and dont find it too painful at all, as has been said dont leave it till the hairs too long or it will pull more. i also find a light dusting of talc stops it dragging on your skin. Also the more you do it the finer the regrowth seems to get (i think some of the root folicles just seem to give up trying to produce hairs).
no use ups to report here, but a few of my current products are getting very low so am hopng that a few will be finished by the end of the week.SPC~12 ot 124

Am delighted as have managed to give a half-empty large bottle of nail varnish remover, one nail varnish, an unopened avacado body butter from the BS and two random fake perfumes that somebody bought for me (which I don't like) to my aunt who is staying for a few days (the body butter was my mum's, but it has been there so long I don't think she even knows it is there and she will literally NEVER get round to using it! :jHow's that for decluttering?!
OK, so far I have managed to buy the following since the start of the challenge:
3 x big bottles of Tresemme shampoo
No7 cleanser
No7 toner (in use)
No7 day cream (used)
No7 night cream (used)
No7 face mask
No7 protect and perfect (sample)
1 green tea toner
1 Lacuna night cream
1 x small hair mask
I have completely used up/given away:
Faith in Nature face and body scrub (used)
No7 day cream (used)
No7 night cream (used)
2 x Corsdyl daily mouthwash
2 x Sensodyn pro-enamel (used)
Large tube Bath and Body Works lime and verbena body lotion (used)
Large tube B & B works grape sickle body lotion (used)
Big tub Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Tree Body Moisturiser (used)
1 x Mitchum deodorants (used)
Large bottle Cutex nail varnish remover (given away)
Random bottle of perfume 4 (given away)
Random bottle of perfume 5 (given away)
All the No7 skincare came as part of one of those big vanity cases Boots sold at Christmas, which I was lucky enough to snap up at £15 in the sales. I might sell the face mask and cleanser online, as I have enough of that to keep me going for many a month.
Not bad, in the way of progress. I'm definitely noticing more space in my drawers, which can only be a good thing. Please call me 'Pickle'

Hi
I am starting a big declutter of my house as I am sick of it being filled with things I don't like/use and want to be able to keep it clean and tidy and have things I like around me. I have just started with my toiletries and am in shock over how much I have, and thought posting here would help me 1) reduce it and 2) remind me in future to only buy the things I like to avoid having to spend 6 months using shampoo/hand wash I don't like, just because it was cheap about 3 years ago and I've hidden it in the back of the drawer to avoid it!
So my list of shame just to record where I'm starting from... (not including cosmetics, perfume and one-offs that I'm going to finish this week)
Bubble bath x 14
Shower gel x 11 (I don't even have a shower!)
Shampoo x 14
Conditioner x 11
Soap x 15
Body moisturiser x 29 (some are for hands/feet etc but I can only be bothered to use one bottle at a time so use all over!)
Face cleanser x 7
Face moisturiser x 7
Hair styler x 18
Exfolliant x 4
Deodorant x 9
Bath bombs x 12
Hand wash x 6
I've packed everything that's unopened away and I'm going to work my way through the opened stuff first, but I'm going to completely run out of something before I even think about replacing it. Hopefully I will emerge gorgeously moisturised for the summer, with an amazing house (I can dream!)
Hope you don't mind me joining you, the good thing about starting at the end of the month is that I'm all set to join properly in April, with the embarrassing list of what I've got safely left behind in the months thread!

welcome muddled midget,
we all have different reasons for joining this thread but the end goal is the same to use up what we have hoarded and reasses our shopping habits so we dont fall into the same trap again. By posting reviews of the products it helps others know if something is worth trying or avoiding (when their stash has gone). Also by noting what was good and bad yuo will hopefully not make the same mistakes again and will, as you say end up with just the products you need and like -not cupboards and drawers full of impluse buys o r 'bargains' that really are not products you enjoy using therefore false economy.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi Midget!
Good to see another convertee. And don't worry about your impressive stash being forgotten: we have long memories when it comes to stashes!
You've done the hardest bit, so get on with using up what has been opoened already, and don't forget to keep a list of what you have used up as well as what you have to use as it's good motivation to keep going.
Best of luck! :TPlease call me 'Pickle'

Now that this is going well, that might have to be my next aim. :eek:Please call me 'Pickle'

Oh gawd trudij, I feel your pain! Bung it on yer feet every night with socks on over the top. It might keep the smell at bay?
When I first read this, I thought you were accusing her of having smelly feet!!!
Then realised you meant the smell of the body lotion...:rotfl:0
