I'm punishing myself by returning a perfume giftset I bought last month from boots for £24.66 which I haven't got round to using so probably never will.Hoping for a refund as I have a reciept. This is because I stupidly spent £30.75 yesterday £1.25 plus a no7 voucher=no7 nailpolish
    £4.50 plus a no7 voucher=2 ruby&millie brushes(750 points used acm voucher used)
£25 on clinique plus a free gift
I should have really used the no7 voucher and acm voucher twice on ruby&millie instead -boosted my points and then spent those on clinique it would have saved me £20 in cash BUT going bootsing with hubby is a nightmare and I couldn't concentrate with him moaning in my ear.
Hubby did treat me to a stella mcartney nude perfume giftset reduced in debenhams so that made me feel a little bit better but it's another perfume in my collection!
I resisted going into bodyshop and haven't ordered anything from the website either probably because i suddenly stopped craving anything lemon related and can't bear to look at the yellow packaging now from the sweet lemon range which I had wanted to buy.2 weeks ago I was desperate to smell the little testers in the shop.

I have now banned myself from boots unless it involves baby item shopping-I don't need anything at all.April will definately be a no buying month.
    Love can tame the wildest

Epilating under your arms, ladies?! You're all either hard as nails or mental - or both! ;) I'd rather let it grow to my elbows, thank you very much! :rotfl:My stomach's turning just at the very thought!

Welcome to the challenge Midget - nothing shocks us in the stash of shame stakes. Some of us are the not so proud possessors of stash that is so old it's been discontinued, repackaged or repackaged AND discontinued! :o

It's a fab challenge, as it saves moeny, clears our clutter and we're fidning out just what's worth buying and what's not, and what we do and don't like.

I thought that I would like to start the new month (April) with a little update on my stash. It's the easter holidays for 2 weeks starting on Friday so I think I will enforce a dragging everything back out of the cupboards and updating it type post sometime then. It should be easier this time as 1 I have less stuff and 2 I have the computer back now so can type as I sort.
I was amazed last night when DD got in the bath and DH got her out a new shampoo and conditioner to use. There's quite a large gap in my basket now! Woohoo! I think I can almost say that I can get some bits out of the cupboard to rearrange.
I'll ponder this further over the coming days. Not sure whther to try and get shot of everything first or try to get rid of the basket from the bathroom first. What do you lot reckon? Minimalist quicker or sorted quicker?
Right, I'm working tonight so I'm going to go and have my bath now. A nice scrubby bath with shave and hairwash and I'll use a bit more of the suncream. I'll be glad to see the end of that and I think it may run out this week.
I'll catch up later on this evening and see what you're all chattering about.

Happy birthday to all the birthday ladies and eek to all the hard nuts who rip hair out of their armpits!

Woohoo, suncream finished! One nicely buffed, defuzzed and moisturised Kaz.
Off to decide which lotion to use next. Think I'll finish off the dove summer glow if that's what it's called.

This smells so lush, got some at Mother's Day, can't wait to use it :D
Oh I cannot believe how much I like the smell of the champneys miracle body butter, it's so nice and relaxing. I like the prices of the champneys stuff- more expensive than high street stuff but not as much as the big boys of clarins, clinique etc.
lostinrates is now the owner of one parrot green eyeshadow. It was b'day gif from dh, so I'm saying i doesn't count ;)
Hope you got just the one lostinrates, and not 3 for 2 just because that was the offer;)

This month has been a hard, still lots to pay out (hundreds of pounds sadly for different bills). So so glad I have this thread to keep me on the straight(ish) and narrow(ish).:A

hi everyone, good news to report - i have actually finished some products!:j I have used the following:
RAdox wellbeing showergel - WIBA no normally love radox products but this smelt horrid
Avon eye cream WIBA - no horrible smell and didnt notice any difference
NO7 P&P serum WIBA - nope! no change to my skin
Sanctuary body oil spray - WIBA - yes nice product not quited moisturising enough for my legs as they are very dry
Also finished a bag of cotton wool
Unfortunately, this has only chipped away at the stash, so much more to get through. have decanted the ted baker bubble bath into shower gel bottle to use it up more quickly and am making a big effort with some other products that are close to finishing
trying hard to be debt free by the end of 2010
