I have to confess that I nearly crumbled last night when I logged onto Quidco to be confronted with 18% cashback on £3 BS body butters. If my favourite had not been sold out, there's no way I could have resisted. Phew! Please call me 'Pickle'

We could be using Hoof Hardener on our nails and and taking Stroppy Mare (yes, there really is such a thing) for our PMT. :rotfl:
Well, I haven't even been over the threshold of Boots or Lush (helps that my local branch is closed for a refit atm) lately. However, I have got a voucher for a free Aveda product which needs to be used today, so I'm going in to get that, but I will resist buying anything else there (hopefully).
Oh, and well done CompletelyLost, that's the most amazing progress. You should be so proud of yourself.0 -
Today I've used up a S&G scrub of your life and I-foam. I like the Scrub, it smells gorgeous, but not so keen on the I Foam fragrance tbh. Starting on a mini clean on me now. Have also put a b-natural bubble bath into handwash dispenser as OH hates the smell of it and he's the only one who uses bubble bath. I love my showers.
I'm loving this challenge, it's keeping me on the straight and narrow. I think i've made 2 toilety purchases so far in 2010, both online. Thankfully I don't like Body Shop or Lush so am not tempted by all the offers you lot talk about. I just have to avoid looking around Boots too much. I have looked for the reduced stuff that's been mentioned on MSE but have never found any of them in my local branches, perhaps that's for the best.
The reviews are great for putting me off buying certain products too, so thanks everyone for those.Mortgage to clear asap! - [STRIKE]£148,874.38 [/STRIKE]as at 1 May 2013£79,176.55 May 2018£59,516.06 July 2019November 2020 £35,914.620 -
went to nearest market town today as electric off for the day for repair work(just came on now)went in Boots but did not buy anything:Aalso did not buy any clothes:A:A(nothing I liked)
went in charity shop but it smelled awful so did not linger
did not buy anymore flakes....never did win a lippy
bought very sensible duvet down from £55 to £20 and half price towels
sorted out the make up bags in my handbags so full kit in each and put extra lippies(they do tend to congregate in handbags)back in bedroom
did not do nails last night as have got 2 sons plus 1 girlfriend staying at the mo and also nails still too short for colour, the YSL nude polish still ok from last week and the salsa on my toes fine too0 -
Forgive me ladies for I have sinned! I went in the brothel otherwise known as Boots and bought a new nail varnish (but I did use free vouchers that I had earned from doing product testing)
However I didn't get silly and buy 2 more things just to get the No7 3 for 2 so I did manage to rein myself in slightly:p Not too bad I suppose.
Used up a sure deodrant WIBA yes! don't want to be whiffy!
