Hi trudij I'm going to agree with others here and suggest you take your time and not rush into things, even if you feel you're likely to 'end up at his'

I've dated both ways, being physical very quickly and waiting till I was sure and the latter way wins hands down. If he's worth it, and I know YOU are, then it can wait ;)

My OH and I waited about 2 months and I can honestly say it's been the best relationship I've ever had from the get-go :)

Be strong if you can, girl, and good luck :D

I'm generally, as I get a little older an advcate of waiting....that said...dh and I didn't. I think the thing is to both be ready to both be respectful and comfortable. I se firends often horsey friends trudij..having the same old meet, physical then end relationship over short timeframes and being constantly disappointed yet doing the same thing over and over...its obvious to me that this is flawed! But I never feel in a position t sayit as I guess I was quite lucky in enjoying dating, and getting into my ''the'' relationship quite young. Its our seven year itch year (married for five) but luckily we bth seem more than happy scratching each other still:rotfl:

trudij, your a horsey girl, you wouldn't rush a young horse through its training, nor hold it back and frustrate it, treat your relationship the same :)

Trudij, bless him, he does sound nervous and maybe he just wants to take things slowly as well. Good luck for tomorrow.

Lynseydee, wow, that is SOME stash. It is going down though!

Went into Boots today to pick up a prescription and that was all I bought in there.

I did buy some Palmers Cocoa Butter concentrated cream, as it was on offer in Superdrug and was cheaper than the Boots foot cream, so I figured I'd give it a go - I'm nearly through the Scholl foot cream. WIBA? Only if it was on special offer though, it's not as good as Boots.

Picked up a free Aveda Pure-fume fragrance with my loyalty card voucher. It smells absolutely gorgeous - trouble is, I've forgotten already which oil it was and she didn't give me a card with it on. I think it's no 9, as I'm sure I can smell sandalwood. I think I'll have to pop back in tomorrow and ask. Despite my huge perfume stash, I'd buy this.

I'm out of the bath now. I've used up a FCUK pure shower scrub WIBA? If it comes as part of a gift set but wouldn't go out specially to acquire it.
I opened up the cream I won in the raffle the wink one if any of you remember me moaning about the shower gel, perfume and body spray? Well, what a nice surprise. I mean it still has the same yukky smell but it's only a hint of the fragrance and it seems to not smell too bad. The best bit though is that it's a really fat butter type cream and it's lovely on.
I'm using the dove on my legs so I can build up some colour. I also found a hand and nail cream in my stash and I've been wanting one for a few days as my hands are really dry. Problem solved!

Great horse analogy there LIR!!! :rotfl:

I am all showered and body buttered and feeling goo-ood. :A Although I'm struggling to use up a mini No7 Beautifully Balanced cleanser. It is horrible slimy goo that just slides off yet still manages to make my face feel tight!!! Can't wait to see the back of it, I am going to try to think of another use for the rest of the bottle.

That's what I love about this challenge, it really makes me see what a waste of money it is to buy stuff that I don't love. Thankfully this was probably part of a GWP at one stage so didn't 'cost' me much but still! I am defo only buying stuff that I love from now on. :)

I am all excited for trudij for tomorrow!!!!!!!

    Hope the date goes well!

Managed to acquire a fcuk weekend bag and vaseline sheer infusion moisturiser by accident today. Does smell nice though! Not finished anything today although am close to finishing a toothpaste!

Don't shoot me but... I don't think I like body butters! I've been using the body shop cocoa butter one and my skin feels greasy most of the day. Am I using the wrong type? I see it's for very dry skin? I have got a body shop passion fruit one for normal skin so guess I can compare it to that?

    *loads gun and takes aim*

Just kidding :rotfl: I normally put mine on after an evening shower, as it takes aaages to sink in so I just pop my Body Shop bamboo robe on and relax. On midweek mornings, I need to get dressed quite quickly and out the door so it's not really practical. Maybe you could try the passion fruit one during the day and save the cocoa butter one for night time? HTH.

That's a great idea! Thanks Tara! I've got some half used body lotions that I can use in the morning too

The cocoa butter one is my fave smell but I find you only need about a third of the amount you would use with the 'normal' skin body butters ... unless you have time to r-e-l-a-x whilst it soaks in...

When I did my 'stock take' I was slightly freaked to discover I have ten full size and two mini body butters so I should be an expert on them by the time I work my way through that little lot :D

    Hi everyone,

Who said they epliapted under their arms? Well like the fool I am I tried it, wasn't convinced the pain should be that bad and though maybe I'm doing something wrong :o Tried it under the other arm and just couldn't do it!!! OMG who ever you are? (I'm convinced it's LiR) you must have armpits of steel  But on my legs I have no probs, it's the best thing I've bought and apart from the ingrowing hairs it's just brilliant :D

Off for a bath and to use up some stuff. Will use a sample fashwash I got yesterday, can't remember what it is or were it is :p
I have an epilator. Have had it for years. I use it on my lower legs with no problems (though careful not to use it on my feet!) I have also got used to using it under my arms. It took absolutely ages to NOT feel like I was ripping the skin off (I wasn't), and there were the little tiny spots of blood to start. Now it's easy, and it keeps the hair away for longer than a razor does!
I've yet to wean myself on to doing my bikini line, though! I've tried a tiny bit a couple of times, and it's HELL!

If you want to be able to do your underarms, keep at it a bit and a bit. While it will be excruciating to start, after a while it really does get easier.
