Yes, being deadly serious. Who in their right mind would believe they needed that many shower gels to begin with :rotfl:

Glad to say I have finally seen the light and have managed to walk away from the Avon catalogue now.

Who would have thought trying to earn a bit of pocket money would turn into acquiring such a huge stash :o

Slight hiccup today....went to buy that Blonde shampoo people went on about a few pages back - Toni & Guy platinum blonde shampoo - with points. Think it's about £6. The assistant immediately said, oooh this is on offer. Then said it's 3 for £10. So as I was paying with points I succumbed.... I gave one to sis straight away. But now have 2. Mmm, one will go to a neighbour who's going through it a bit I think. I can't stand the thought of building up my stash again (so it's worked out for £2 each, in points, to treat each bod). Ahhh brothel Boots!

Then I was due to meet someone and realised (not feeling well) that I had no make up on, so ran to collection 2000 and got their perfecting minerals powder make up (which I already have one of and is very good) and a bronzer (plleeeeerrrrgh, rubbish).

So all in all, bl**dy awful! Ok, I exaggerate. But...could do better.

    :o

Walks off to donate the spare platinum blonde shampoo to friend now :A

Edit: she's got it now, ah that feels better. Just don't want to get into stockpiling stuff for the sake of it.

Hes very nice though, and I think hes just as nervous as I am about things,so I think im going to play this by ear and see what (if anything!) comes of it.... think the plan for tomorrow ends with us having dinner and wine - so Im guessing the idea is that we end up at his.....

Oh goodness, he sounds so lovely! I agree, he may be a keeper. I too miss the 'courting' stage at the start of a relationship. :) Hope you have a lovely time and it goes without saying that we want ALL the details afterwards. :D

and one tub of lovely cleanser from urban decay - used before and it was fine but put it on in the bath and it started burning and has left me with horrible red marks over my face :( i'm giving that to a friend to see how they get on with it so as much as im gutted it done this it is one less item in my stash :)

    Hi all

Another P&P perfect serum used up - love how quick I am getting through these 5ml samples. I will start another one this eveing.

Have about three uses left in my shampoo and then will have to buy some more as that one was the last in my stash.

Ooooh just remembered I finished off a toothpaste last night as well so will need to put £1 in my pot for that too. Had three more toothpastes in stock so started one of those this morning.

Well done everyone on using your stash and looking forward to April. I've spent £13.71 this month on toiletries which I am pleased with as I would normally have spent a lot more than that and wouldn't be using half of it!!!!

lynseydee, every now and then one of you says something that makes me feel so much better about my own relatively meager stash! You dear thing: at least you can be totally sure you'll smell great....pretty much forever. I have one bottle unused of shower gel and three on the go now (and a few hotel ones left)....and they feel pretty daunting to me!

I'm also on the second to last toothpaste.....

a note of caution...its not so mse to excuse splurges by giving away the unintended purchases......no names mentioned mineallmine....gifts are great, and we are all nice people, but not going to cure the real problem or make us more MSE!

Didn't butter myself up after my bath earlier, and the difference is really obvious to me....I'll have to butter thrice tomorrow to make amends...:o

Hi trudij I'm going to agree with others here and suggest you take your time and not rush into things, even if you feel you're likely to 'end up at his'

I've dated both ways, being physical very quickly and waiting till I was sure and the latter way wins hands down. If he's worth it, and I know YOU are, then it can wait ;)

My OH and I waited about 2 months and I can honestly say it's been the best relationship I've ever had from the get-go :)

Be strong if you can, girl, and good luck :D
