Bought a hair mask yesterday on the recommendation of a hairdresser as my hair is feeling a bit poorly at the minute (£2.34 for a trial size, so not bad). Picked up some of the Lacuna night cream from Aldi as well as was passing and am about to run out of night cream, so I thought it was worth a go. I'm looking at it this way: it's worth a bash at £1.99, and if it's no good, I currently don't have any foot moisturiser, so I'll use that instead! :rotfl:

EDIT: Also used up another mouthwash.

I have a stash of it (and the scrub) from the last BS glitch before it was discontinued, at £2.40 a tub it would have been rude not to! Haven't started it yet but toally adore the Brazil Nut range.

Am currently using (not all at once!):

    Body Shop hemp body butter
Body Shop Cocoa Butter body wash
Body Shop Vitamin E facial oil
Body Shop Vitamin E neck gel
Body Shop Vitamin E day moisturiser
Body Shop Vitamin E eye cream (see a pattern? lol)
    Time Delay eye cream
Botanics soothing face serum with mallow etc
    Skin Doctors Relaxaderm (FAB)
Skin Doctors (can't remember name) night cream
    Boots Vitamin E night cream
    Aussie Aussome Volume shampoo
Herbal Essences yellow conditioner (discontinued boo hoo)

And a few more random face masks, scrubs and stuff in between... :rotfl:

I'm really intrigued by all the Vitamin E stuff I keep seeing mentioned - Body Shop, Superdrug and Boots as well I think... Once I get through my stash I might have to have a closer look- seems to be a massive following!

    What does it actually do?

Wow! It takes me just under a month per pot, but I am using BioOil still on my arms, and using up some other cheap lotion on my stomach and stuff - I might well get through one a week once I finish everything else, what a thought!

I have several on the go at a time..to coordinate with different scents and moods. also, I used them twice a day, which might be double what other people do:o and yes, I use them al over...well, everywhere I can reach! nd I'm super soft ATM!

I borrowed my friends's copy of Paula Begouin's book Don't Go To The Cosmetic Counter Without Me last week and have become a complete devotee. :D I know that there's a lot of mixed views about her in this Forum, but I think she's good and that in the long-run she will save me money (and my skin).
Paula illustrates her reviews of products with a smiley face (and smiley face with a tick, if it's one of her top choices), unhappy face and "OK" face. I was amazed to see that all the products that I have used once and didn't like or irritated my skin are all ones that she gave a unhappy face or a "OK" face to, and the products that I've liked and felt worked on my skin, have been ones that she gave smiley faces too. These were all products I had before I started to read her book.
But I'm not going to ditch everything and buy her recommendations (*Have to be firm with myself* :D ). It's tempting, but I just can't afford it. Looking at my bathroom cabinets, I should be able to start buying new skincare products in May, so I'll start to get them then. I think my skin can cope until then.
