Resisted a £25 grabbit (a Liz Arden bronzing kit...hello I have about 3 already in different makes). It was in the shopping basket, and then I ummed and aaarghed, Yay, well done me. Think I will add up these as virtual spends, where I genuinely resist/put stuff back on the shelf I was about to buy, on my sig and then spend that money (I would have spent) on something big, like GHDs, or a spa day. Goes off to have a think about that as a goal...
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm getting very near the end of my Estee Lauder night repair. Bottle was a christmas gift then got spilt, almost immediately, and have been using the amount I could save. (the lid was on, but came off when a cat knocked it. :() I love this, and have another, bouht it duty free, to replace it when this is done with.

also almost finished a sample of Eve Lom Radiance cream. I've used it as a moisturiser day and night over the weekend and today. It has at least tomorrow morning left in it. Its delicious, a beautiful texture and scent. I love it very much, but have too much moisturiser to consider buying again any time this summer. I think it would be light enough for summer use for me. If I remember by the time I need to buy, and if there is no new tempting snake oil I might buy it, its very delicious to use. :)

Ok, I've come to own up - I didn't resist :o I bought 5 body butters! I couldn't help it, I only have one left (and a S&G that i'm currently using) and 5 for £12 delivered (and cashback I haven't included yet) was too good :rotfl:

I know I didn't need them right now, and I'll have to find somewhere to put them, so it's clutter. Sorry :(

You're nearly at the end of your body butters stash so it's allowed :)
I'm currently using body butters at a rate of about pot a week, so if you re anything like me it seems a fair time to restock, and that's a fair price. ;0

    OMG :rotfl:

Finished the tresemme conditioner and the horrid baby shampoo (used it to wash with tonight and made everyone else do the same!). Felt I needed the nice soak as DD has been foul tempered in the extreme tonight so she was sent to bed at 6.15 after I'd finished nit coming her. I've just heard her having a pop at DH now again. God help us when she's a teenager. I think I'll leave home for that period of her life!

I've not used anything up today, but what I realised today is that not only am I using up my stash and saving money, I'm actually using my products properly, ie regularly. I've always been a bit half hearted about using my body butter, etc and foot creams, using them for a few days and then giving up, and so haven't seen the real benefits. Now I'm making an effort and using them on a daily basis - and to be honest it was a bit of a chore at first - and I'm so pleased with the results.

I think it only actually struck home when I saw what lovely condition my feet are in at the moment. What a thing to be proud of - feet! :rotfl:

Tara, is that Body SHop hemp butter? It's fab isn't it. The lip protector is absolutely brilliant as well. Wish they hadn't stopped making the soap though.

Roshy, it took me about two weeks to get properly into the habit where I now automatically reach for body butter after a bath or shower. I keep my foot cream by the bed so I can put it on last thing at night, and I have a tube of handcream on my desk at work as well as one at home. That way, if they're right at hand, I'm more likely to use them.

PS I still have the odd slip up now and again, when I'm tired and just can't be bothered and I always feel guilty!
