i find this too? but i have tried the dove thermal protextor (not sure of the name, its in a red bottle) and the spray if fairly good on that and none of these issues so far! will have to keep an eye out on the T&G one though, thanks for the review of it :)

I managed to get into the tin bottle thing that held the Toni & Guy spray, decanted my John Frieda stuff into it, in the hope that it would spray more finely - unfortunately it didn't. It's a little bit better, but still not quite as good. Ah well, it's still usable. When I get through all the John Frieda stuff I might have to check out the Dove stuff - always good to now there's a cheaper alternative :)
I'm currently using body butters at a rate of about pot a week, so if you re anything like me it seems a fair time to restock, and that's a fair price. ;0

Wow! It takes me just under a month per pot, but I am using BioOil still on my arms, and using up some other cheap lotion on my stomach and stuff - I might well get through one a week once I finish everything else, what a thought!

You're nearly at the end of your body butters stash so it's allowed :)

    Phew, thanks!

I bought some Carmex as my lips are in a bit of a state, so £2.38 spent. I've just tried it and my lips feel super tingly. That's what it's meant to feel like, right? I wasn't expecting it to be menthol... wish I'd got the cherry one now.

Yep, it's meant to tingle - at least it does for everyone I know, and they all love it, it's great for the lips. Though my new favourite lip treatment is Simple Kind to Lips Intensive Lip moisturiser - I got it as a freebie, and it's fab! I'll def buy it in future.
What's amazing is seeing the back of cupboards and shelves. Getting rid of bottles that have been here forever..so long you almost don't see them...I have bottled that have moved houses with me more than 13 times! well, never again.....

I have stuff I remember buying at Uni - and that's a depressingly long time ago now... I'm getting through them now though.
I also found a box of wax strips last ngiht which I tried to use, but they were so old the wax wouldn't soften, it was just so brittle  No idea how old they were.

I agree with this. Always got a hand cream nearby. My new plan is to leave the body butter in the bathroom so I put it on in there instead of the bedroom. The bathroom is warmer after a bath so it's easier and nicer than trekking acroos the cold landing into the cold bedroom

Wish I could do this - I'm sure I'd do a better job of body buttering in the bathroom, but it's so cold all the time, my bedroom is much warmer. The extractor fan in the bathroom is a little too efficient... :p

Oh I know. I've found some really old stuff that I didn't dare open. It's when you find something that you know has been discontinued for years or has changed packaging not once but twice that you know there's a little bit of a problem :rotfl:

You beat me to it tara747 - I was going to say that I got a sample of aloe body butter in store which is lovely and fresh - and a light texture. Would have bought some but got huge stash of cocoa butter and fruity ones ;)

Finished a couple of bits this morning - the Crabtree & Evelyn Sarawak Body scrub, WIBA? no - and to be honest it would put me off trying other scrubs of theirs. I thought at first I was going to like it as it's very scrubby but it leaves a slightly strange coating on the skin which even shower gel afterwards finds it tricky to shift. Also finished an Olay Total Effects cleanser - WIBA? well I only paid 87p for these with a Boots Skinnie voucher - (I still have one more full one in the stash) and at that price it was an absolute bargain! I've got to like this more as I've gone along I must admit, but there are other cleansers I like more, so I'll say no. I'll finish a Take The Day off tonight I should think also.

Got the S&G Scrub of your life and a Clinique cleansing gel to use next. :D

Well done to those that resisted Body Shop stuff, and tut tut to those still buying Flakes JUST to try to win a lippy! CompletelyLost - so long as your lips are just tingling then persevere with the Carmex - it's excellent. If they are burning or really stinging though it may be better to stop using it.

Off out in a while for our Speedway team's Press & practise day - I shall be standing out in the open all afternoon next to the track taking photos so by the time I get home will be rather dusty so hairwash tonight I think - a final chance before we go away to make some more headway into the Tresemme Shampoo - I'm dying to finish it so I can move on to one of my posher brands! :rotfl:

    Have a good day everyone!

Finished a packet of wipes last night. Still got many, many packets to go, though. Used a sample of Very Hollywood too, and it doesn't suit me, won't be buying that!

I have a stash of it (and the scrub) from the last BS glitch before it was discontinued, at £2.40 a tub it would have been rude not to! Haven't started it yet but toally adore the Brazil Nut range.

Am currently using (not all at once!):

    Body Shop hemp body butter
Body Shop Cocoa Butter body wash
Body Shop Vitamin E facial oil
Body Shop Vitamin E neck gel
Body Shop Vitamin E day moisturiser
Body Shop Vitamin E eye cream (see a pattern? lol)
    Time Delay eye cream
Botanics soothing face serum with mallow etc
    Skin Doctors Relaxaderm (FAB)
Skin Doctors (can't remember name) night cream
    Boots Vitamin E night cream
    Aussie Aussome Volume shampoo
Herbal Essences yellow conditioner (discontinued boo hoo)

And a few more random face masks, scrubs and stuff in between... :rotfl:
