But I will be going to a salon for my birthday, however that doesn't count :rotfl::A

snipped, no it doesnt cause its good to take time out for yourself, ive really missed my massage this month and my shoulder is playing up loads. On a plus note i went for my elemis spa pod treatment and wow, it was fab, the facial itself was excellent and my skin felt beautiful and looked beautiful afterwards. I had to go into a very beautiful room and put on a sarong thingy and then relaxed in a massage chair that reclines and it did my calves, back etc was fab. The therapist was so good she even did an indian head massage for me, which includes neck and shoulders too. I would thoroughly reccomend this , but make sure your slaon is the spa pod one, i went to debenhams which was, but apparently the house of fraser one doesnt have the massage bit.
Well i think i will do repair my nails monday, as nails have been a bit flaky last few days and will pamper my feet too.

I don't envy you with a sore shoulder, I hope it gets better soon :)

Ohhh, that sounds so good - I adore having my head massaged.

I really miss college :o Well, except for the waxing :rotfl:

I took my polish off earlier, still trying to decide which colour to put on again.
  • Evening girls, and happy St Davids Day

So many newbies today, well done for joining....There's definately satisfaction to be had when you've used up some of your stock..

Today I finished off a S&G hair supply, 50mls, WIBA - I love the smell, but not sure if it makes my hair greasier or not, have another larger one in stock so will keep trying to work it out!!!
Also finished an Avon banana shower gel - WIBA - its been discountinued, so no, was a nice smell tho...
And a can of shaving foam, cheap one from morrisons, does the job fine, so yes would buy again.

    have a good evening x

    :hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

Hello you lovely lot, can anyone recommend a good moisturiser they have tried in their quest to use all their lotions and potions?

I currently use Clarins Hydraquench stuff (SO EXPENSIVE) - so something simmilar to that would be preferable, just not such a simmilar price tag!

Hi all, 3 pages and its only 1st March, :rotfl:wow, lots of chat!! I am being very good, however going to tesco on wednesday, and will have to be strong, there is a great deal on at the mo, 3 items of shampoo for £2.00. I really shouldn't go on the grabit board!

I have used up lots more stuff, and considering how neat and tidy I usually am, I was amazed at how many bottles I had that were partially used. I have kept rotating my stuff, about once a week so I don't get bored, and kept the odd nearly empty bottle out to use up.

I haven't bought anything I didn't NEED, as opposed to want in Feb, and I hope to continue with the challenge in March. I am pleased to see how well everyone is doing,

    katiex:)

    Well done you!

I used up a Champneys mint shower gel, def guy again. It's about £6 but it's a lovely uplifting smell. You can buy it at Sainsburys (as long as you don't buy duplicates ;))

I need face scrub so that will probably be my major purchase, that and a replacement Champneys shower gel. Don't need anything else. and perhaps a couple of mags to get the free JB conditioner and the Neals Yard products, shhhhshshs!

For the poster asking about a good cream (who currently uses Clarins). I find Nivea soft (one of my recent naughty purchases) is really good value for the money. My skin is sensitive and so doesn't take kindly to a lot of things. So I can recommend this. You can buy a small tube, cheap about £2 I think in Savers.

Skin type I guess is dry? Why not try getting some samples to see whats best. I've just finished ROC which is a little cheaper than that sort of brand but more expensive than many but I would recommend it.

So thats why I'm posting, the day moisturiser on the ROC duo I bought is now finished to. I'm slightly self-satisfied. Its the first time I've got all the way through something bought without a serious rest, then felt uninspired to return as the pot looks older, less exciting.

My skin has had niggles, but its glowing and healthy inbetween!

edit: I have slightly bloodshot eyes ATM, just overtired and headachey, bit stressed. Normal reaction might be to seek out eye drops but I'm actually going to go to bed instead :)

Right, I confess, I caved, and I don't care :rotfl:

I went to my local Tesco's, they had the 3 for £2 still on the shelf labels, and lots of stock, so I spent £6 and got 9 things. I was fairly good - before I would have gone mad and got loads, even stuff I might not use - but this time I only (!!) got 3 conditioners (JF FrizzEase and Sheer blonde) which I do and will use (once I get through the others...), 2 heat defense sprays, 2 serums, and 2 shine mists - all of which I don't have, I was just making do with other stuff to use random stuff up.

But for £6 I feel no guilt at all for buying the stuff I actually like and want to use - sorry girls, sometimes an offer is just too good to say no too :A

(And my Tesco receipt says I saved £42.10:eek:)

So hit me with the lines if you like - it was worth it! (And £6 transferred to my savings pot to 'punish' myself. I will now go continue berating myself by having a luxurious shower :rotfl:)
