H007 happy birthday chick, a lot of the stuff ive used up have been minis or samples. I now have £100 in my pot:j:j
Did pynm yesterday and they have already chipped, used 17 in nightshade (didnt realise it was black) so very vampy, but i will need to chuck the topcoat Sally Hansen double duty? Its gone gloopy and keeps ruining the finish on my polish. Back later

    Nab

    xx

Happy Birthday, h007! My bottles last forever too, but I don't worry about it. At least I'm more aware of how much I buy compared to how much I use now!

I have had a good day today (or maybe a bad day considering I am on this challenge)... I popped into Boots at lunchtime to get the No7 eyebrow pencil I have mentioned that I want and got it with a No7 voucher for £2.00, I also bought a flake with a 20p off voucher that I had from the machines and I bought some batteries for my camera (I am going to Paris this weekend and don't want to run out)... Anyway, I asked the customer assistant if she would try my 250 points voucher from a No7 Christmas giftset (that I bought for my Mum), and she tried it and it worked!! And then of course, because I spent over £5.00, I got another No7 voucher... So I went back to the No7 counter and got some moisturising gloves and bought another flake with another 20p off voucher... So I got all of that and 250 points (the gloves were only £1.00, the flakes 43p each and the eyebrow pencil £2.00) :D

The most exciting thing about all of this was that when I got back to the office, I gobbled my flake (oops) and as it was a promotional one (win a benefit lipstick), I typed in the code from one of my flakes and I won!!! :j

Yay, I am going to the benefit counter after work to see what colour I should choose :-) I wonder if my other flake is a winner... :T

In my defence, I only got one toiletry item and it was something I actually wanted...
I'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!

I quite often wear perfume for bed, especially if I've got some sample vials that I want to try out but don't want to go round smelling of all day in case they're horrible. I once tried out a Serge Lutens A La Nuit which was grim to say the least - I loathe jasmine scents with a passion, but couldn't tell with this because it was a little spray vial. If I'd had to wear that throught the day, I would have had to get a shower, no matter how late it would have made me!

For those of you who have the No 7 bath soak but haven't used it, I loved the fragrance - it sort of reminded me of vintage perfumes and it's VERY bubbly.

Kaz, re your tampax problem, have you tried the mini ones? It might be the ones you're using are just too big. I've had a similar problem if I use the wrong size at the wrong time.

Anyway, I've bought nothing new since my little perfume lapse last week (like I really needed adding to my massive perfume stash) although I am tempted to buy the Clarins wash off cleanser and and gentle day cream after getting samples while they were doing the mini treats giveaway. Suppose I'll have to wait until I've used the Avene up first.

Used up: various Clarins samples, all of which I'd buy :o

had my clarins/she facial today so nice cleaned face and new make up to go out in tonight.

bought the face mask for £30 (as you had to spend £15 to get the facial free) and got a free cream worth £20 (actually the 1 the girl used on me ) and a couple of samples too. Also got a £5 No 7 coupon so bought a new nail polish(I know v bad but in my defense it is a colour I dont have a nice cherry red called salsa ...trouble is nails too short for colour:()

also got a flake with 20p off coupon from machine but did not win the lippy:(

Oh, now you've done it. Maybe I could justify buying the gentle day cream if I was getting a facial and some little extras as well. I do need a more intensive moisturiser than the one I'm using, so it would be a need not a want. :o I think I'll buy a She on the way home...
  • I've used up a Philosophy 'Snowman' bath/shower gel. The scent (snow?!)was a bit boring so I used loads of gel per bath and finished the bottle in about 6 baths! That's my secret to getting through products quickly - once I've decided I don't love a product and I want to get rid of it asap, I either give it away or use a very generous amount each time.

More importantly, I haven't bought any toiletries recently :T.
  • Am using the freebie Neal's Yard Power Berry moisturiser from Marie Claire and its great so far. Am a bit spotty (hormones!) this week and its calming my skin down, not leaving it oily either.
