No buying toiletries in March challenge!

Afternoon,
I've just washed & conditioned my hair... and been reminded why I hate L'oreal conditioner (well, most of them). I forgot to take my conditioner in the bathroom with me so just grabbed whatever was on the shelf, which happened to be my mum's L'oreal conditioner in the red bottle. My hair is now all fluffly, but looks and feels greasy. So washign my hair was a bit pointless!
Anyway I've just finished a Nivea pearl deo, and also some Aquafresh toothpaste. I have a couple of other things close to the finishing line, too.
Caved last night and bought my trusty EDM foundation - spent £12.87. I figured that by the time I try a load of cheaper foundations, I might as well just order the one that suits my skintone perfectly. I had been using the 2True powder but it just doesn't cut it - it's still orangey, even though it's really pale?! So I'm now using my EDM 'summer' colour (which makes me look tanned, but not orange - tanned is better than tangoed!) until my new pot arrives. Can't wait to go back to being my normal colour0 -
We've gone a bit quiet these last few days - Tara's away I think isn't she? There are one or two others missing too aren't there? No doubt they'll soon be back and the thread will be galloping along again. Went out this morning and resisted the temptation to go into Superdrug, Boots, or round the M&S toiletries section! :T I was shattered last night so have put off my fabulous full-on-Friday pamper until tonight instead... must remember to stick the hot water on later!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

No spends today but I have finished a No7 eyeshadow trio. So need to get another one out of my stash.
Will have to repaint my nails as I left it too late to do a top coat on Thursday night so it is all fading at the ends. my own fault really but I like the colour so will just do the tips and then put a top coat on.
really need to colour my hair but will leave that until tomorrow night when I have a bit more time.0 -
Well I bought the Max Factor offer (free gift if spend over £15). I need mascara as have no stash. So instead of faffing around and buying other stuff in their range I don't know if I'll like I bought just 2 mascaras (Masterpiece Max which is fab!). The freebie was ok, quite nice colour lipstick. Look at me, I'm growing up!

Your best bet would be to check the thread on grabbit relating to the current Boots voucher as to whether people are finding it works for brushes or not. Sometimes they do, sometimes not.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Ref Blusher Brushes, I notice the No 7 one costs £11 (so presumably/hopefully £6 with the voucher).
But checking on boots.com it looks quite Boots's other brand - 17 - do a blusher brush for £3. Being as they are the same company, highly likely to be same product, but different packaging/colours? So maybe worth a look?
Edit: just noticed 17 do a brush set for £4.99!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Hello everyone,
I have been awol but behaving. The only thing I bought in Feb was cotton wool pads because I'd run out...I can't believe that I've been able to ignore the grabbits, walk past boots and avoid the bodyshop. Hurrah. It really does get easier the further along the road you get*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

Well done QoNMW. I agree, it does feel less of a struggle once you get used to the idea of not needing to buy stuff, doesn't it.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
