I've used up my make-primer from Laura Mercier. Lovely product, would love to buy it again but it's too expensive for me just now, although it did last for ages. Looking for recommendations. I'm thinking Body Shop or GOSH as they are a bit cheaper than others but there's also a Primark one in packaging very similar to Benefit which I might get because it's cheap + the packaging is cute. It might be ok...

I'm such a sucker for cute packaging! I've bought things and used them once but kept because they look nice!

    Evening ladies :hello:

Fell off the wagon repeatedly this week, and can't bear to share (just yet) :(

    However, I have finished:

Paul Smith Rose edp-WIBA? Of course, however I have 2 bottles-in-waiting so no need to just yet ;)

How much perfume do you ladies use? Just 1 squirt, just once a day or what?
Daytime, I do one squirt behind each ear, one on a wrist which I then rub with the other, and sometimes spray the air and twirl in the droplets-once above my head for the upper body, then again about waist height to get the lower body.

If I'm going out or plan to spend special time with my OH, it's the same with the addition of a squirt in each elbow crook and behind each knee ;)

I am a bit of a perfume junkie though, can't IMAGINE leaving the house with none on. I even wear it if I'm not going out :rotfl:
I can't leave the house without scent either; I used to overdo it when I was younger, but learned that a subtle whiff is far more pleasant :)

well i have today discovered the most USELESS body scrub in the world. tis from a winnie-the-pooh gift set. It must have a whole 3 bits of 'scrub' to every generous handful of 'gloop'. these scrubby bits don't do ANYTHING!!! I am struggling to find HOW they were able to legally sell it as a scrub.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Evening ladies, nothing much to report here I'm afraid. The dregs of the Trevor Sorbie conditioner are still lingering and there are probably another one or two applications left of the Sainsbury's night cream. 6tmwip.gif

Sorry to hear about your bad experience at the funeral Kaz2904. jhy41y.gif
OK, I just threw away a little blue jar too small to be useful.....I have fluttering heart and fingers itching to lift it out of the recycling box.....
Oh how I identify with this........ :( Did you rescue it? You could always decant a small amount of hand cream or moisturiser into it to carry around in your handbag.

I sorted through a very small quantity of my stash on Tuesday night. I am so embarrassed and ashamed of myself....... :embarasse
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

I bought some stuff from e.l.f today, I did need it! I know a few of you were looking at getting a couple of things from the site so, I used this code; ELF32ROCKSUK which gives you free delivery on a £10 order. I'm not encouraging anyone though!!!

Well it was probably aimed at kids being a Pooh product. I wouldn't recommend scrubby stuff on younger skin to be honest :(.
Get some Flake Away, now THAT is a scrub! :)

    Flake AWay is FAB !!!

well - 5 days in, and my skin still feels great - the TV stuff was mentally funny, and Im really glad I did it - and the make-up girl complimented me on my complexion,so hurrah to Benefit !!!!

I bought a 5 month subs for £5 to Glamour mag today - comes with a free benefit mascara and lipgloss (allegedly worth £22), so will definately sort through my stash of makeup when i get a chance. Other than that, Ive been very good !!!!

So so far in March I've spent £29.98.

:naughty: What happened to buying shiny new GHD's instead of cosmetics?

Today I bought a copy of glamour and marie clare for the james brown hair conditoner and neals yard moisturiser,!

Me too:o I've decided they are good value. The moisturiser is a full size 50ml (won't be so great for those of us who decide we don't like it but must use it up having bought it) and the hair products are 100ml. Boots are selling 75ml travel sizes for the same price as the magazine. I will include them in my €40 cosmetics budget for March because I bought the magazines for the freebies.

The only thing I think I might need to buy is conditioner. Has anyone got any recommendations?

    Glamour magazine freebie.

I got the free Simple lip balm today and I really like it.

Hi ladies hope your all well, been very busy lately but here goes..
This really is the best way. For years supermarkets have been much smaller to me than many as I don't go down packet food aisles, magazine aisles, crisp and confectionery aisles......there is the green grocer bit, the meat bit, the dairy bit, the cleaning and loo roll bits....the wine bits....:T:T any thing ese is an adventure fraught with danger...:o:o
:rotfl:. With me its my naturally magnetism, im drawn inexplicably to toiletries:D

    Re: perfume useage.
I think I may be one of those annoying ladies who wears too much perfume :o
I'd say 3 or 4 squirts just as I'm about to leave, then maybe a couple of squirts every 2 hours or so. I suppose it depends on whether or not it's EDP or EDT. Some perfumes last, others don't.
I am a bit of a perfume junkie though, can't IMAGINE leaving the house with none on. I even wear it if I'm not going out :rotfl:[
    /QUOTE]

    Sounds perfectly normal to me:)
