Mrs Chaos ~ That's a really good weight for twins, sending my good thoughts and prayers for a safe delivery.
Sandy ~ Sending get well thoughts, I'd have discharged myself as well, I find sleeping in hospitals a real challenge.
Tomorrow will be day 9 of the electricians re-wiring....I've asked him if he will be here for Christmas......Maybe I'm giving him too many cups of tea and biscuits..........I'm actually doing a lot of housework but it's hard to fit it into the flylady lists as it mainly involves wiping down and vaccuuming after my rather expensive house guest.

Hey nutty,
I stick all the food into black bin bags (the strong type), then put the black bin bags inside a thick sleeping bag (or spare duvet if you've got one) and it will keep properly frozen for a good few hours.
