Try some tweezers first to check for hair/facemask type gunk (haven't used Lush products since )
I got a big orange bottle of cheapo drain unblocker. Half the bottle left overnight did the job
I did try the natural stuff first. Didn't think of immac - that's clever! :T"She who asks is a fool once. She who never asks is a fool forever"

I pour a cup of soda crystals down my shower plug and also kitchen sink. shower I do about once every 6 weeks or so and then pour a 'boiled down stairs and brought up' kettle down after it. That seems to do the trick. the kitchen sink I do when ever I clean it...........;)0

Hiya, this happened to me last year and it was driving me nuts for ages!!! No hair in plughole etc which was unusual as I have mega long hair. My bathroom is downstairs so went outside to check the drain and there was a massive hairball the size of a babys head (well almost) glued to the end of the pipe with hair gunk etc. I pulled it of and all the backed up water came flowing out and not had a problem since. Gross but oddly satisfying;)Comping since 3rd November 2007.2 x £50 Faith Vouchers.Tray Wrigleys Extra FusionTray Wrigleys Extra Big One2 x Big songs for little people-double cds!Cadburys vintage vanOli *mystery prize*0

We had the same problem. Regularly pull hair attached to the plughole, put soda and hot water down etc, but it continued to be slow.
Remembered that we bought (and used) a drain unblocker a while ago, so used that and the water flowed again. The product we bought from QVC, but have just looked it up and it is this one http://www.merproducts.com/acatalog/Pressure_Plumber.html
A couple of days later I was in the kitchen when DD was in the bathroom and suddenly there was gushing water past the window.
After making her think she had broken something we went outside to check. There was no damage, the pipe going up from the drain widens about half way up the outside of the house and takes the waste pipe from the bath and the drain from the gutter.
There was a great mass of hair that had been dislodged forn the bath drain, but was now resting in the bowl where the two pipes met  Obviously when the plug was taken out of the bath the water then came over the top of this open pipe.
The unblocker works well, and next time we will know to retrieve the hair from outside.
It isn't cheap but we have also used it when the outflow from the dishwasher was blocked as this isn't easy to get to.

the wire coat hanger method works well and is very satisfying. I wore gloves and plopped the hair and gunk into the toilet. Much better than chemicals0

Have to say in the end I used 'caustic soda' as I had some in the house as I make my own soap. I don't have any real chemicals in the house anymore, just like bicarb and vinegar and tea tree oil etc so I used what I had. Anyway it worked absolutely fantastically and no plunger needed either. So thanks!:T0

After reading the tips on here yesterday, I attacked my slow draining bathroom sink last night. I unscrewed the plughole to find a load of old gunky soap etc. However the big rubber washer type thing was so gunked up it had gone all a strange shape. I put the plughole back, poured some water down and then had water coming out the back of the sink onto the floor . Hopefully my brother in law has a spare and will find 5 mins to come and fix it. For now we are washing hands and brushing teeth over the bath
