When did MyOffers take over Mirror comps? I have found this comp from John Barrowman's website which says it's from The Mirror but following the links it brings you to this page which is MyOffers.

If I find a regular competition thats in a "closed" or locked thread but it's expired do I still send this to a BG or do I just leave it?

i know the http://www.girl.com.au/competition site is daily, but is there any point entering for dvds, as they will be un playable unless you have a multi format playback for dvd's as they are not for our region - or am I wrong?

As they are PAL and region 4 they might work. No harm entering if you really want the DVD as you can get hacks for any kind of dvd player on the net these days.

Am I the only one annoyed by the 'have to buy the product to enter' competitions? Apart from the fact I can't afford to keep buying all these products they don't really encourage people to eat healthily. I know, I know, it's up to the person involved and you don't have to buy the product but I just find them a windup.

Totally agree on not buying stuff - the companies are only doing it to sell more, and judging by some of the comments from compers, it works. I won't buy stuff unless I use it.
What annoys me is the cost of text comps - now they are extortionate - won't do those either unless they cost less than a stamp. I think companies who run these just pust their luck to see how high people will spend.

I am not very technically minded and wonder if someone could please explain something to me.

When I am on the main competitions page, if I hover over the title of a comp, I can usually see a box with the first few lines of the post, to give me an idea if it is a comp that I would like to enter or not. However, with some posts recently, if I hover over the title, the box that appears keeps flashing on and off (if that makes sense), is very difficult to read and it makes it difficult to even click on to the competition to read it. Why is this?

Ive been getting this aswell, thought it was my laptop playing up again, nice to see its not

if anyone knows why it happens id also be interested
