Just wondering, when entering competitions for local radio stations and local newspapers, do you have to be living in that area where they are broadcast etc. For example could I enter a competition for a Scottish newspaper/radio station when I live in Wales?

Some of them state that you have to live in the broadcasting area - when this is the case the OP normally posts to say this. If it doesn't say this then you're free to enter any :) Whether they'll draw you as a winner or not is a different matter... Most do seem to accept winners from anywhere but be aware that some competitions state that you have to collect the prize

Am I the only one that gets annoyed by people posting 'well done' posts in IWIWIW when they obviously haven't even read the first post (i.e. there hasn't even been a win!)?
Lol - your not the only one. It does amaze me the number of people who blatently dont read the post.
    Thank you all who post.

Definitely not the only one. Someone posts 'I've won but can't go because my OH has lost his job' and they get loads of 'Well Dones' and clapping smileys. Read the first post for Heaven's sake people.

Posting this here as well as comps scams x

This scam has really annoyed me as http://www.competitionsdaily.co.uk/index.php that site run by a person who last week took tons and tons of comps of mse now has the nerve to ask people for payment for what they get for free from here.
So peeps take the time and effort to post comps here, and she posts them to her site and charges people.....................:mad::mad::mad:

edit: the testimonals can't be real either as this was only set up last week so how can peeps have won loads of her site?

Please don't end up paying for what u get for free from mse/loquax/prizefinder

I'm glad it wasn't just me that was completely annoyed by that. What an absolute cheek and insult to everyone who puts the effort in on MSE. A total rip off and scam.

Edit to add: £49 membership at the moment (early bird discount) it will be £150 annual fee or £4 monthly fee???!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::eek::eek:
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

Well lets hope there no comps that involve maths. I'm pretty angry about that as I told a couple of my facebook friends that don't comp seriously. Wonder how long my post on the discussions there will last, Got to take lad to doctors but will be keeping and eye on this
