Have you thought of doing some twittering ?

Yeah, we're going to do that along with a Facebook page. Lots of thinking 'outside the box' they've come to me as I have some marketing experience & just thought of my old comping days!
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!

How about an obscure eating comp - beans with cocktails sticks etc (or whatevers suitable for the food they serve) and get local paper involved?
Happy with any wins this year :A

Hi, wondering if you guys can help (Iused 2 be a competitions regular!)

My friend has a struggling restaurant and I'm looking for any competition out of the ordinary to enter that might help out eg. visit from your fav pop band, or a big prop from a film! Something they can use to get a bit of publicity where they are. I know the chances of me winning are slim, but theres a chance!

Anyone seen any PM me (or put here!) thanks so much

My first (and only) ever win - an Elemis SOS cream came today. It had been squashed flat by the Royal Mail. :(

They sent it in a bag with an apologetic message written on it which, of course, makes it all okay... :rotfl:

I've been getting these too and they never stop ringing. I did get them though when I picked up and it was them. They asked how much I currently pay for gas and electric so I knocked some off to make it lower then he did the comparison and it came out I would be paying something like £150 MORE per year by using them. They haven't called back since. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've had about 3 calls so far. Told the last one I had just done a price check, and was in process of changing to EDF, - that got them off the phone quite quickly.
I've had a couple of Virgin as well this week - so I wonder if they are doing the rounds as well.
