    a wee q.
with the paper & mag comps to txt at £1.50 or more a go, i personally never ever see the winners names?
lots of other free & cheaper comps do print winners,
    which is encouraging,
im thinking on the Sunday Mail
    The Sun, The Daily Mail
& the Daily Record in particular but etc
am i missing them or do you agree!?
i often do them but think oh what the heck, are people really wiining these ones?

I know Princess Pixiedust has won a few times with the Daily Star Sunday text comps & they're £1.50 ;)
    :) xx JoJo xx :)

:heart2: And only now I see the light...

thanks i think my real issue is that the likes of the Sunday mail daily record daily express & mail etc
charge £1.50 but dont show us who won, so it makes me wonder why?
whilst the likes of the Sunday Post charges only 50p a text but always prints winners

i have won 3 times now with the sunday mail and have always recieved a letter advising of the win, they do publish winners on their site

    http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/competitions/winners/

only at april though, so they probably update when winners have been notified and had their wins

sunday express, publish winners in the paper and where available i always list this in the postals, same with daily express, not sure how they notify their big wins though

the daily star have a winners list but you have to send off for this, dont have the address, maybe something that sweetie could do?

Hi. Can anyone tell me they've snuck in a new rule on the length of a post? I'm trying to update the first page of the Take a Break thread and keep getting this message:

"The text that you have entered is too long (33314 characters). Please shorten it to 25000 characters long."

I'd have to chop an awful lot out to do that!

    aggie xx

  • Sorry aggie I really don't think there is anyway round it. What about asking Board Guide to lock the thread & start a new one splitting the first post into two?

A bit of messing around, but another way would be to move a post of yours to the thread, that is around the same time or before the time of the first post, which would give you two posts at the start to use then on the same thread, hth, xxx
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx
