i know that's why i said i think of it as postals. either way i'd enter text ones but couldn't be bothered with postals - anyway it was only my opinion and just wanted to know what others thought - didn't say it was the right opinion and wasn;t asking for it to be changed! i'd rather they were all listed individually or have different sub boards for each type - i just hate the long thread.2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

If i'm honest blackmidnight I probably go through postals more than I do on main board so I think I would probably enter more text comps from postals. I can see what you mean though but IMO I like them in postals so I dont miss them. I am always behind with the main board.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

Hi Blackmidnight - I can see where you are coming from here - I posted a win £1000 a day with Ribena comp today which will get moved as it is text (normal rate) - I done my usual search but forgot to look in postals(where befffff had already posted it. It was absoloutly lovelyly (not a real word I know but I like making up silly words) pointed out to me by sweetiepie that it was in postals & she is right and I realised it should be in there but my only thought is this:
Usually daily comps with big prizes get bumped constantly with people asking where the cheapest bottles are/did you get your losing text etc & this cannot really happen (or can it as don't really understand the postals/text thread) also I posted an appletiser comp in the ordinary comps board (main bit) which was text & this wasn't moved0 -

it was your post that made me think about this because like you if i searched for ribena nothing came up on main boards and i wouldn't have thought to look under postals either even though when i think about it i would realise it should be there but like you've said all 'big' prize comps with text entry seem to stay on main board and get bumped loads2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

I think the bumping of these type of comps makes them more exciting - adds to the community feeling of the board - this is also when newbies notice for the first time the tremendous generosity of MSE Compers - when they can't get codes etc or like in the Mccains chips can't afford to & people share
I also moan when people bump other comps though just to say that's me entered so perhaps I am just a contrary wee git0 -
I must admit when its the likes of pepsi or mcCain comp which is always on first page I do tend to enter it more often!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

The thing with snr texts and them being 'free' is that they aren't. A lot of the texts which are snr aren't included in most contract phones text allowance unfortunately
I don't enter text comps and I'm in the postals thread everyday lol. And it's also hard to seperate which ones would go in which thread as it's seldom that one comp only has the one way to enter, the majority tend to be phone and text, or mail and text. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

majority? seriously? there are also ones which have online entry and text or postal entry - where should they be posted then?2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
