I've always been told that if it has a free route of entry it goes on the main board. That's why the inside soap comps which can be entered by email get posted on the main board rather than on the postals board, and the ones in the issue which are text/post entry only go in the postals board.

more often than not the snr only texts will be a daily and they are always linked up to the dailies thread, it wouldnt work putting them on main board, would just get too confusing for people , if people want to enter the snr texts then all they have to is go through the thread and find the ones they want to enter or if looking for a specific name of comp then type that in search box and it will come up

if there is also email entry then as ikkle says that route is used as of course it is free, this is stated on the first posts of the postal thread so its clear what people should do

bm, if you want i can keep an eye out for snr texts for you and pm you link if you would rather that, im on postals every day so no bother to me:D

in an ideal world, i would love the postals to have their own section just like the reg comps, i won i won and game over has, then there could be threads for texts, phone, postals, entry form details from mags etc, have seen postal thread getting more and more popular, take the last thread for instance, it was started in early may and its at 100 pages already:D

yes that would be what i would like idealy too lol - ah well works well enough as it is, as i said wasn't asking for change just opinions

I would prefer it if there were lots of different sub boards, so that you could go in the ones you most prefer. So, for example a sub board for Facebook, another sub board for Twitter and another sub board for Photo effort required.

i would also love a sub board for twitter and facebook comps, one for purchase required comps (like mcvitites recent one), and one for effort required comps. possibly that would be too complicated for the posting of them all though.

i start with daily or postal comps, move onto the one i havent done yet, muck about with fb and twitter occasionally and then hit the main board for comps ending on whatever date i got up to last time, often the next day.

instant win or enter as many times as you want comps on the whole get linked to in the daily thread so long as one of us who used that thread finds them before the end date or someone else notifies gilla via the thread or pm.

id actually quite like to have one htread per domain on the main board too though, so all itv posts get posted in one single thread, all empire in another, all loaded in another etc etc. that way can go through and do them all at once opening only one thread instead of loads of individual threads, which all get closed and restarted in same way other long threads do iyswim (ie the way the take a break thread and puzzler thread are updated as new comps go up). comps like dunk, and jaffa that are likley to get many replies or other websites that tend to have one off comps rather than many with new ones added daily would still have their own individual threads.

again that might make posting them far too complicated though,and would certainly make searching by end date a lot more complicated.

separating postal, text and phone comps would i think be too hard as many of them offer all 3 as route of entry, any that offer an email entry or online are posted on main board as well as, or sometimes instead of, in that thread which i think works quite well.

with the paper & mag comps to txt at £1.50 or more a go, i personally never ever see the winners names?
lots of other free & cheaper comps do print winners,
which is encouraging,

The Sun, The Daily Mail
& the Daily Record in particular but etc
am i missing them or do you agree!?
i often do them but think oh what the heck, are people really wiining these ones?

Go to User CP then go to Edit Signature. (Not that I have bothered to do mine)
