Its not happened to me, but its certainly crossed my mind it could happen. A long while ago I started to use a different dob and shortened version of my name.0

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right thread, so sorry if it isn't, but I am just wondering if somebody could point out in the GMTV terms and conditions where it says you can enter multiple times (and each entry counts) for the online prize draws because I can't find it and I can't understand how it can be possible either - what about people who write scripts to do multiple entries for them and cheat? How do they figure out who is doing that and who is just sitting at their computer refreshing their page several times for more entries. It seems like a waste of time if only one entry really does count?:j

It says there is no restriction on the number of entries here in the FAQs.
ITV are a large organisation, who I'm sure can afford the appropriate software or IT analysts to work out who is cheating and who is not. I'm sure people could probably still find a way round it, but in general it is just up to individual entrants to read the terms and not cheat. We can only hope that promoters can spot the cheats.0 -

Facebook question - Can I sign up without putting my life on there? I'm missing out on loads of competitions because I don't have a facebook account. Thanks.SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES

Definately Matryoshka
All I have on mine is my name and a profile pic of my cat. I have my profile completely private so people can only access it if I have added them as a friend you just have to skip the "invite your friends" stepsJan-Sept: Prizes worth £2248

Thanks for asking that Matroyshka, and to Bladebaby for answering. I've always shied away from facebook comps as I was worried about opening an account. I've now 'bitten the bullet' and done it and we'll see how we go.

If we spot a competition that we think has expired, is it sufficient to press the "expired" button, or should we still PM a BG please anyone?0

Would a BG just move it over even if it's just one user whose reported it? I ask because sometimes someone would post and say comp closed and another user would post after that "it's just worked for me" :cool:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:
