  • Could you add me to this challenge please? Just lost my job today due to ill health so every bit helps.

I pledge to last 31 days without buying chocolate and my deadly 'impulse buys' :o

Welcome aboard cancerianmam - please let us all know how you get on and sorry to hear about your job. Working life is getting tough out there for many of us and some getting cast aside. I hope things work out for you

A milestone achieved today. In my bathroom I have 2 units with 3 baskets/shelves. Before I joined the original challenge they were bursting full alongside everywhere else, of toilettries. Now I'm about to chuck the larger one out!

This has one shelf which is nearly empty of beauty products and the other 2 shelves have cleaning products on - have moved them into a new plastic unit and this one is going in the bin as its rusty. Now I can fit everything where its supposed to go and no longer look like I have products bulging out of absolutely everywhere

Very happy about this. It might sound mad to some people I know, but believe me, this is another massive step forward for me not spending every penny I have and don't have on beauty products

Also used a foot cream I've had for a long long time! Onto the last one now in my stocks

fedupandskint - Am pleased as to what you have achieved. It does not sound mad to me for what you have done. You must feel good within yourself as well.

I've set up the original 100 day challenge again on the DFW diaries board to keep me a bit more focused than this ongoing one is

I've pledged to not buy anything from QVC from 17 Jan to April when the challenge ends and no make up and the ongoing toiletries saga unless I've run out

Does anyone want to join? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2986084

  • Hi, please sign me up.
I'm also doing the £365 in 365 days challenge and would like to sign up to this one too.
I won't buy any more unnecessary toiletries, as like many other members I'm a bit of an addict and stockpile them for months on end.:j
    Cheers,
  • Hi all,

I'd like to join this challenge please :-) I remember following it a few Christmasses ago - it's something that I actually stuck to!

I'd like to pledge the following:

No cakes/pastries, increase daily water intake,no toiletries(unless they are needed) gym 3 x per week.

    Think that's enough for now!
