What about keeping a spending diary. Keep putting your loose change in your sealed pot. Have you thought of filling your bottle of tap water, instead of buying new bottles?

I am continuing to use up my stocks and not replace. This week I've used up and Elemis Absolute Lift mask (I can't remember how long I've had that for), a Pantene Conditioner (had for over a year) and a L'Occitane Shower Cream (again no idea how long had this for)

Must have had these for at least 2yrs, if not more. Stocks continue to reduce - have 2 lots of shampoo on the go and once this has gone, I will have run out for the first time in years. Still working my way through the conditioners though!

Keep going everyone else - you'll get there in the end - it took me a couple of years to get to this point and was very hard work at times. Your journey may not be as hard has mine has been and good luck to you all!

Try the Old Style Moneysaving forums. They did have a grocery challenge on there.

Thanks fedupandskint. This challenge has made me really think as to what I have and what I really need. You seem to be doing a great job in using what you have.
