Another update - used up a bottle of Rosehip Oil I've had for ages, and a bottle of bio oil also had for ages. Now onto a pot of moisturiser also had for a year in the drawer.

    Getting there still

    How's everyone else doing?

I am doing alright at the moment. Have not brought anything new. Still slowly going through my items.

  • Still haven't bought any magazines or newspapers... I did move in the end so put £350 of deposit on cc, but that is not excuse for the other £400 I've spent on it!! Only unnecessary toiletries I've bought is baby wipes because it was 342 and i needed some more so thought I might as well get 3 as I'll use them all, and I bought some shampoo and condition the other day even though I'm still going through my previous bottle. Oh and some shower gel when I still have a couple of small bottles to use up! Don't think I've been eating out much, except for last weekend when I was away, and I'm doing pretty badly with the weekly spend challenge, but I'm using the house move as an excuse for that!

Had to chuck out a couple of items that never suited me in the end - the pot of Ponds Daily Light Moisturiser which brought me out in spots and Botanics Night Skin Oil which made me itch

Decleor Facial oil finished off last week

Now onto Superdrug Vit E Oil - surprisingly very nice to use and a pot of Prescriptives Moisturiser had all year which is suiting my skin nicely

Also finished off the last of my Charles Worthington Leave in Conditioner bought 18mths ago and John Frieda hair finishing cream for brunetters also bought 18mths ago

No more new items brought in so working through everything nicely

Hope everyone else is doing ok too

  • Hello All,

I've tried in vain to find a 100 day thread so going to join this one if you don't mind? I'm feeling all ready to rumble with getting rid of my debt and I want to set myself some challenges too. The main one is to make myself lunch for work everyday - I waste soooo much money on this - I think on average about 35.00 per week at least so hoping to make a big saving there as well as stopping wasting food that I buy and then throw away at home because I don't use it.

I love the idea of using your creams up - I'm not a big toiletries fan but I do have some lotions and potions that I could use up before buying new soaps etc.

Thanks for all your enthusiasm - I'm spurred on now!

Had to buy some more drodorant. Got 2 of them as they were reasonably priced in Wilko's. Had buy 3 minute deep conditioning hair mask (botanics from boots). Has rice bran protein and grapeseed oil. Hoping it might help the psoriasis on my scalp as well as conditioning my hair. Will only use once a week. Should last quite a while.
