I signed and returned the agreement and direct debit mandate earlier in the week, but the envelope was 2nd class so I hope to get hold of the card sometime next week!LBM: Nov 2004 Debt Apr06: £19,273.46 (Highest)

I really had to vent my anger on here about these...
Recently, Morgan Stanley, Captial One and Lloyds TSB have taken to sending me, regularly, unsolicited credit card cheques through the post. Pretty much every month.
This looks to me like blatent profiteering from those who don't carefully read the terms & conditions of these horrible horrible things!
Admittedly, the MS and Lloyds ones are 0% cheques BUT they charge you a fee of 2.5% and the 0% is only for 6 months.
The Capital One cheques are the worst, charged at something like 22% I think!!!
The shredder thinks they are tasty though.LBM: Nov 2004 Debt Apr06: £19,273.46 (Highest)

Still no sign of M&S card. Grrrrr. I really want to sort any balance transfers quite soon and I have money burning a hole in my current account, ready to do some debt clearing.
Current plan
Transfer maximum possible balance to M&S card, hopefully clearing the £1901.88 on Capital One and preferably creating a positive balance that I will be refunded by Capital One when I close the card.
The refunded balance then gets paid to the Egg loan, transferring a 7.9% debt to a 3.9% debt. Check those moves out!
Then I can also transfer the cash in my current account to the Egg loan instead of using it to clear the last of the 0% on Capital One.
Result: Capital One closed + some of Egg 7.9% debt transferred to M&S 3.9% debt + big dent made in Egg debt.
Except that I haven't received the card yet!!!LBM: Nov 2004 Debt Apr06: £19,273.46 (Highest)
