cheers mate - I feel like i'm cracking up! :rotfl::rotfl:
Its crappy1 though, they are so awkward and cowboyish that people see the same form and panic! Its not the form itself, but the circumstances surrounding everything that make an agreement enforceable or not.
I would love to say "all Crappy1 agreements are unenforceable" - but then i'd get closed down by the OFT :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll

Seriously, you need to breathe deeply and learn to say if you don't want my opinion then DON'T ASK!!

When you read about people who have got themselves in such a state over their finances that they end up literally killing themselves, I think Never-In-Doubt deserves a medal for the very worthwhile public service he is doing here.
Just finding this forum and reading about other people in a simililar financial situation made me feel better. Then, when I realised there was actually something very wrong with the way a lot of banks and financial institutions conducted (and continue to conduct) themselves, I got angry.
When I found NIDs threads, I was amazed to see someone taking their own time and energy to fight back at these parasites. In the last few weeks, my self-esteem has returned and I have given up the idea of just giving-up and am enjoying the process of fighting back. And it's all down to this guy.
NID is a rare diamond in the rough and I'll be forever grateful to him for getting my life back on track.

hey new on here, just a little shell shocked after reading a letter from the solicitor Monster Claims had appointed for me, stating the "manchester test case" and that my claim against barclaycard would be not be taken forward.
Long and short.
the barclaycard account was openned in 2004. I asked for copies of the original signed application, I was sent a photocopy of the current application form, no sig.
I then asked for more details regarding account, I recieved A MAHOOFSIVE old skool computer print out containing loads of details regarding old statements etc. still no sig.
Monster approved the claim and forwarded solicitors, this was June last year....first I hear from anyone is this letter today.
so question are;
is that it? what are my options?
Are there any other things i should be trying?
failing that what are my options ? speak to barclaycard ?
just looking for some pointers really as pretty much at end of my tether. thanks in advance for your time reading this.
