    1. I haven't stated that i work for park direct
    2. I haven't stated what my work is
    3. I can show you PCN's pursued in court and won
    4. Due to forums like this encouraging people to park where they like with no respect for other peoples properties, i will soon be able to show you loads more.

It's PPCs who have no respect for other people's property, particularly private clampers who are knuckle-dragging thicko scum who cannot get a proper job.

!!!!!! most dumb clampers can't even put a proper sign up nor even write out a lawful receipt!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Obvious this person works for park direct....
So show us the PCns you have won in court.

Why hasnt your company paid the ccj's?

It coil always be one of perkys friends....

What may seem obvious to you may not necessarily be right. Who i work for, or more precisely what i do and how i know so much is my business, but think what you like.

If you want to see PCN's won in court there are some already available on the net complete with judges summary.
I will post the links but not yet because i want to be sure of which i can post and which i shouldn't. I think that those already available should suffice, though there are much more interesting ones that i would prefer to show.

So says someone who clearly lives in PPC world and therefore has not a clue about how County Court works.

Winning by default does NOT mean you win just because the other side fails to defend.

You still have to show the court that you have a proper and on the face of it justified valid claim.

So what has occurred is that the Court has ruled that in the absence of any evidence to the contrary the claimant has a valid claim.

Or to answer the question " Who said people were wrongfully clamped" ?

THE COURT DID AND HANDED DOWN A JUDGEMENT TO THAT EFFECT.

So why have your squeaky clean friends Park Direct failed to pay up ???

I refer you to my previous comments about the conduct of this company.

As i am not 'friends' of park direct i cannot tell you why they do or do not do whatever they do. What i can tell you is that years ago there was no clear definition of laws regarding ticketing/towing/clamping which meant that it could be much more costly to defend such cases than to default on them.
This led to many Private parking companies neglecting to defend themselves. Now laws are much more cleaarly defined it gives parking companies every chance of winning cases, and they do.

As for me having no idea how a county court works, i can assure you i spend more time in them than out of them.

What everyone here tries to avoid is the fact that they do not have a right to park where they like, that clear signage is in place, that THEY have tresspassed, that they have only been ticketed clamped or towed because of their own actions.
Also, forums like this collectively give the wrong impression that private parking companies act illegally, which they don't. In fact they have to extremely mindful of the law at all times.

Just where on these forums as anyone said people have a right to park anywhere they like.

Spelling not your strong point then, just like this person has trespassed

Please elaborate on what laws have been more clearly defined.

As a quick reference can I point you to THURLOW V OPC

You may be interested to know that decision was made by a real Judge!

Then reinforced by a lower Judge when they stated they could not argue with a more senior Judges decision.

Looks like our parking troll has been defeated and has left the building :)

No, not at all. I just don't have all day to spend on forums like this. But i will keep checking back to see how many more comments are made.
  • Ok, i accept your wager but instead of posting links, i'll point you to a parking company who has already published their wins. You'll find links, newspaper reports and court summaries here: combinedparkingsolutions.com/legal.html (as a new user i am not allowed to publish links)
