  • Thanks guys, don't think I'd ever go away unless OH paid for the holiday and the spending money. He's really good and because I won;t let him help me with the debt (he's not short) I think he feels as if he's helping by sending me away for a few weeks.

I'm kind of glad the weather is bad today as I've got soooo much ironing to do that no sunshine means no outside in the garden!

LOL DTBDF I am so like you - good weather = dirty house as I find it sinful to stay inside when the sun shines!

So hopefully today I will get monthly accounts down - as tomorrow the sun is alledgely going to shine!

  • Got lots done on Saturday then went down to see OH and spent the rest of the weekend cooking, cleaning, washing and ironing for him.....

Not got anything planned today other than taks DS to Halfords for some spray paint for his bike, they refused to sell it to him as they didn't think he looked old enough :)

Not made any more payments to the debts, will have to wait until the DD's come out of the bank so that I know exactly where I am, also need to keep £98 spare in case Studio decide to accept my F&F (fingers crossed). It's my birthday on Wednesday and everybody wants to know what I want and I just can't think of anything. OH is really into woodworking and I'm scared stiff he's going to buy me something woody (I showed interes in Pyrography) so I think I may have to mention the lovely little leather bag I fancied in M&S :) Mum and uncle have decided to keep money for me to go away on holidays so there's £100 guaranteed spending money that I'll have extra, also got about £100 in my £2 tin and have £51 coming from Quidco this month so all in all I've made a good start. Have to be really careful over next few months as I have to service and MOT the car at the end of July and I know I need 4 tyres. Luckily OH is a manager of a garage network so I know I'll get a good deal but stil need to find quite a bit of money. Not looking forward to it at all :(

Have promised to sit and watch Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 with DD this afternoon (hope it's better than Coraline, which she made me sit through on Saturday afternoon) and have cooked lunch with mum to look forward to at 2.

  • Still nothing happening in my househod. I've not heard anything back from studio (I've contacted them again about charges) and I've not heard anything from the DCA regarding the F&F despite e-mailing the top person there and having her word she'll look into my complaint as well. Can't believe it's a 5 week month this month, think I'm really going to struggle :( All DD's have gone out of my account so everyone is paid for this month, that's a sigh of relief I can breathe! I may see if I can send an extra £10 to Next but this depends on how much money I have over after my shopping tonight. Am off out for the day tomorrow with OH so am keeping a few pounds to one side in case I fancy something. It was my Birthday on Wednesday and I had loads of money and vouchers so I'm only really using money that was given to me as a gift. I know I should pay it off the debt but everyone deserves a treat......

  • Thanks guys. Have bought myself a nice new cardigan and a pair of shoes today. Ony spent £26 in total so very MSE there. I must admit I had £150 worth of M&S gift vouchers off OH and spent £80 on a bag. It's something I've had my eye on for a while but coudn't justify spending my money on it. OH realised this and got me gift vouchers and told me to get the bag. Feel super guilty but it is a nice bag!
