Well done I love it when you have a day off and dont waste it. You will have that floor done before you know it, will we all have new diaries in a few years called "what will i do with all my money" :rotfl:
    MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

NOW JAN 2019 (that still needs to change)
  • LOL it'll be a fair few years before i'll have a diary with that title.......

Well still no money from Amazon but the ex has paid me my CSA so I'll be transferring a fair bit from that today into the Shapely Account. That will hopefully make me feel a little better. Initiated another transfer from Amazon today only £7.98 but if I can scrape another £2.02 that'll be another £10 off. Oooooo it's all starting to come together again :)

  • Have just made a payment to Shapely for, wait for it...... £75. I'm probably going to regret it come the middle of the month but the impulsive part of me just had to do it. You can see now how I got myself into debt, I just don't think. Never mind it's better that adding £75 to the debt I suppose. New balance = £150.

So where can I fet the rest from? Well theres now nearly £25 waiting to come from Amazon, payday tomorrow, the e-bay sales at the weekend (hopefully) and I get money off OH at the weekend. I'm sure I can make the £150 to clear this debt. My aim was to pay it off by the end of May, then April. Could I possibly do it before the 10.04.10. I'm going to try and then it'll be bye bye shapely :)

£75 is fantastic, your making such good progress I'm sure you will clear it by the 10th April.

I do wonder if I'm now just addicted to spending money on debt, instead of spending money on stuff? Hopefully once I'm debt free I can get addicted to saving!

  • I'm certain that by the middle of the month I'm going to be sorry that I paid such a large chunk off but there'll be nothing I can do about it then so I'll just have to live with it.

The way my luck goes I'll probably pay everything off after struggling for years and then win millions on the lottery. I wish.....

Well now that really wouldn't be a HUGE problem, would it?

  • Well Herwego payday has arrived and what a major letdown. My current contracted hours are 30 hours per week but have been working full time for about a year now i.e 37.5 hours per week. Last payday I was only paid my basic wage so I was so looking forward to today because I'd have the extra 37.5 hours that they owed me from last month plus the extra 37.5 hours that I've worked this month so I'd have a whopping 75 hours extra pay BUT NO! Stupid bl00dy payroll have yet again only paid me my basic hours. That will be a massive 112.5 hours extra next month (if I get it). To say I'm gutted is an understatement. I have quite a few bills that need paying so was relying on the extra to cover them. Have had to pay all the bills out of my basic salary this morning and it's left me with very little. I knew I'd be sorry about paying a large chunk off Shapely. I'm so gutted I could cry.

Nothing I can do about it this month as the NHS only pay out once a month so will have to wait until next month. It's going to be a scrimping month again :(:(:(:(

i think you will find they are fobbing you off i used to work in NHS accounts there is no reason they cannot raise you a cheque, just tell them you will be forwarding bank charges as you NEED that money it is yours or this could go on forever. In todays technology they you transfer the money and it would be with you in 2 hours. I think its time for you to stamp your feet....
Catch up later or i will be late for work Yippee to payday
